Setup

Wired Connection

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer or device.
  3. The keyboard will be automatically detected and ready for use. The keyboard will also charge in wired mode.

Bluetooth Wireless Connection

The keyboard supports connecting up to three Bluetooth devices.

  1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on and sufficiently charged.
  2. Turn on the keyboard's power switch (usually located on the underside or side).
  3. To enter pairing mode for a specific slot (1, 2, or 3), press and hold the Fn key and one of the Bluetooth keys (1, 2, or 3) until the corresponding indicator light flashes rapidly.
  4. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  5. Select "IOGEAR MECHLITE Nano" from the list of available devices.
  6. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light will become solid when successfully paired.

Switching Between Devices (Bluetooth)

Once multiple devices are paired, you can switch between them by pressing the Fn key and the corresponding Bluetooth key (1, 2, or 3) briefly. The indicator light will show which device is currently active.

RGB Backlighting Control

The keyboard features per-key RGB backlighting. Use the following key combinations to control the lighting effects:

  • Fn + \ |: Cycle through different lighting effects.
  • Fn + [ { or Fn + ] }: Adjust brightness levels.
  • Fn + ; : or Fn + ' ": Adjust effect speed.
  • Fn + , < or Fn + . >: Change backlight colors (for static modes).

Volume Control Knob
