2. Safety Instructions
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, burns, or other injuries.
- Always place the wax melter on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface.
- Do not operate the appliance near flammable materials or in areas with poor ventilation.
- Ensure the power cord is not damaged and is connected to a grounded electrical outlet.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while in operation.
- The wax and internal components become extremely hot during use. Avoid direct contact with hot surfaces. Use heat-resistant gloves if necessary.
- Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation and while it is cooling down.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning or maintenance.
- Ensure there is always enough wax in the basin to completely cover the bottom heating element during use to prevent overheating of the element.
- Do not overfill the container beyond its maximum capacity (8 liters).
3. Product Components
The TOAUTO WMF-8L Electric Wax Melting Container includes the following main components:
- Main Wax Melting Unit (8L capacity)
- Lid
- Temperature Control Knob
- Indicator Lights (Heating, Insulation, Standby)
- Heating Core Spout with Valve
- Power Cord
Included Accessories:
- Mixing Spoon
- Candle Wicks
4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage.
- Placement: Place the wax melter on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and safe operation.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior of the container with a damp cloth to remove any dust or manufacturing residues. Ensure it is completely dry before adding wax.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard, grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adding Wax
- Open the lid and add your desired wax type (e.g., soy wax, beeswax, paraffin wax) into the container.
- Ensure the wax level is above the bottom heating element to prevent damage and ensure efficient melting. Do not exceed the 8-liter maximum fill line.
5.2 Temperature Control and Heating
- Turn the temperature control knob to your desired melting temperature. The range is typically from 32°C (90°F) to 100°C (212°F). Different wax types have different melting points; consult your wax supplier's recommendations.
- The appliance will begin heating. The red indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the heating element is active.
- The TOAUTO WMF-8L features rapid heating. Approximately 3.5 kg of soy wax can melt in about 20 minutes at 100°C.
- Once the set temperature is reached, the appliance will automatically switch to a warm-keeping mode. The yellow indicator light will illuminate, and the red light may turn off or cycle.
- If the temperature drops below the set point during warm-keeping, the heating element will reactivate automatically to maintain the desired temperature.

5.3 Indicator Lights
- Red Light (Heating): Indicates the machine is actively heating the wax.
- Yellow Light (Insulation): Indicates the machine is in keep-warm mode. The temperature is being maintained.
- Green Light (Standby): Indicates the machine has automatically cut off power and is using residual heat. This typically occurs when the set temperature is reached and maintained, or when the unit enters a low-power state.

5.4 Dispensing Wax
- The patented heating core spout technology ensures the wax remains heated within the spout, preventing clogs and allowing for smooth, continuous flow.
- The nozzle is positioned lower than the bottom of the internal container, combined with an "hourglass" bottom design, to facilitate draining up to 98% of the wax.
- To dispense wax, open the spout valve. Close it securely after dispensing.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your wax melter.
- Cool Down: Always ensure the appliance is completely cooled down and unplugged from the power outlet before attempting any cleaning.
- Emptying Wax: Utilize the spout and the hourglass bottom design to drain as much wax as possible.
- Interior Cleaning: Once cooled, any remaining wax can be carefully scraped out. The smooth bottom design facilitates easier cleaning. Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm, soapy water to clean the interior. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Spout Cleaning: Ensure the spout is free of wax residue. If clogged, gently heat the spout area (with the unit unplugged and cooled) to soften the wax, then clear it with a suitable tool.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry wax melter in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your TOAUTO WMF-8L, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Wax not melting or heating slowly. | Power not connected; temperature set too low; insufficient wax covering heating element. | Ensure unit is plugged in and power is on. Increase temperature setting. Add more wax to cover the bottom heating element. |
| Spout is clogged or wax flow is slow. | Wax residue build-up; wax not fully melted. | Ensure wax is fully melted. Clean the spout thoroughly after each use. If clogged, gently heat the spout area (unplugged) to soften wax and clear. |
| Spout drips after closing. | Small amount of residual wax in the spout; valve not fully closed. | Ensure the valve is completely closed. Place a small container underneath the spout to catch any drips. Regular cleaning helps minimize residue. |
| Indicator lights not functioning as described. | Electrical fault; unit not powered on. | Check power connection. If problem persists, discontinue use and contact customer support. |
| Unit heats only the bottom portion of the wax. | This is a common misconception. The unit is designed with a heating core spout and internal circulation to ensure even melting. Ensure sufficient wax is added and allow adequate time for the entire volume to reach temperature. Stirring occasionally can also help. |
