2. Safety Information

• Always disconnect the vehicle's battery before performing any electrical work to prevent electrical shock or damage.
• Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent short circuits.

5. Setup and Installation

The SUNPIE 7 Inch LED Headlight is designed for plug-and-play installation, directly mounting into existing housings. Follow these general steps for installation:

1. Preparation: Ensure the motorcycle is turned off and the battery is disconnected.
2. Remove Existing Headlight: Carefully remove the bezel, retaining ring, and existing headlight assembly from your motorcycle. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old headlight.
3. Install New Headlight: Position the SUNPIE 7 Inch LED Headlight into the headlight bucket. Ensure it sits securely.
4. Connect Wiring:
   • Connect the main headlight plug from the new LED headlight to the motorcycle's existing headlight harness using the provided adapter wires (H13 or H4 connection).
   • If your headlight includes a Halo/DRL feature, connect the ACC+ wire to a switched 12V power source (e.g., accessory wire) and the ACC- wire to ground. If the headlight does not have a Halo/DRL, these wires are not used.
   • Note: Some adapter harnesses may not be explicitly labeled for high/low beam. If the high and low beams are reversed after initial connection, simply reverse the adapter connection.

5. Secure Headlight: Reinstall the retaining ring and bezel, ensuring the headlight is firmly secured in place.
6. Test Functionality: Reconnect the battery. Turn on the motorcycle and test the high beam, low beam, and any optional Halo/DRL functions to ensure correct operation.

6. Operating Instructions

The SUNPIE 7 Inch LED Headlight operates like your motorcycle's original headlight, providing both high and low beam functions. The LED design offers significantly brighter illumination for improved visibility.

• Low Beam: Provides 2600 lumens of light, suitable for general riding and when oncoming traffic is present.
• High Beam: Provides 3500 lumens of light, offering extended visibility for open roads and areas with no oncoming traffic.
• Fog Resistant: The headlight is designed to resist fogging, contributing to safer driving conditions.
• IP67 Waterproof: The unit is rated IP67 waterproof, protecting against moisture ingress during rainy conditions or off-road use.

8. Troubleshooting

• Headlight Not Illuminating:
  • Check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and properly seated.
  • Verify that the motorcycle's battery is fully charged and properly connected.
  • Inspect fuses related to the headlight circuit.
• High/Low Beams Reversed:
  • If the high beam activates when the low beam is selected, and vice-versa, reverse the connection of the adapter harness. Some harnesses may not be explicitly labeled.
• Flickering Light:
  • Ensure all electrical connections are tight and free from corrosion.
  • Check for any loose components within the headlight housing.
• Moisture Inside Lens:
  • While the product is IP67 waterproof, extreme temperature changes can sometimes cause minor condensation. This usually dissipates. If persistent moisture is observed, inspect the seal for damage.
