1. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the TOAUTO A1 PCP Air Compressor. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Manual Shut-Off: The A1 version does not feature an auto-stop function. Always monitor the pressure gauge and manually turn off the compressor once the desired pressure is reached.
- Bursting Disc: The compressor is equipped with a bursting disc for safety. If pressure exceeds approximately 32MPa (4640 PSI), the disc will rupture to release pressure. Ensure the bursting disc is in good condition before each use.
- Ventilation: Operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
- Pressure Limits: Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure of 4500 PSI (300 Bar/30Mpa) for the compressor or the tank being filled. The maximum inflation tank size is limited to 30ci (0.5L).
- Electrical Safety: Ensure proper electrical connections for both 12V DC and 110V AC power sources. Avoid operating in wet conditions.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the compressor during operation.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
The compressor can be powered by either a 12V DC car battery or a 110V AC home outlet.
- For 110V AC Home Use: Connect the AC power cord to the external power supply, then connect the power supply to the compressor. Plug the AC power cord into a standard 110V wall outlet.
- For 12V DC Car Battery Use: Connect the battery clip cord to your car battery (red to positive '+', black to negative '-'). Then, connect the other end of the battery clip cord to the DC 12V input on the compressor.

5.2 Voltage Selection (External Power Supply)
If using the external power supply, ensure the voltage switch on the power supply is set correctly for your region (e.g., 110V or 220V). Refer to the power supply's markings for the correct setting.
5.3 Air Hose Connection
Connect one end of the 8mm FOSTER female connector hose to the compressor's output port. Connect the other end to your PCP air rifle or paintball cylinder's male nozzle. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leaks.

5.4 Bleed Valve
Before starting the compressor, ensure the bleed valve (exhaust valve) is fully closed. This valve is used to release pressure after inflation.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Starting the Compressor
Once all connections are secure and the bleed valve is closed, flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The compressor will start, and the internal cooling fan will automatically begin operating.

Figure 6.1: The simple one-button start mechanism of the compressor.
6.2 Monitoring Pressure and Temperature
Continuously monitor the pressure gauge and the digital temperature display during the inflation process. The A1 version requires manual shut-off. Do not allow the pressure to exceed 4500 PSI (300 Bar/30Mpa) or the maximum pressure rating of your air tank.
6.3 Inflation Process
The compressor can fill a 500CC tank from 200BARS to 300BARS in approximately 8 minutes, and from 0BARS to 300BARS in about 20 minutes. The maximum recommended inflation tank size is 30ci (0.5L).

Figure 6.2: The powerful motor ensures efficient inflation.
6.4 Stopping the Compressor
Once the desired pressure is reached, immediately flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position to stop the compressor.
6.5 Releasing Pressure
After stopping the compressor, slowly open the bleed valve to release any residual pressure in the hose before disconnecting it from your air tank. This prevents sudden pressure release and potential injury.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cooling System
The compressor features an automatic cooling fan that starts when the unit is powered on. This prevents high-temperature damage to the motor. Ensure the fan vents are clear of obstructions for optimal airflow.

Figure 7.1: The compressor's integrated cooling system.
7.2 Bursting Disc
The bursting disc is a critical safety component. If it ruptures, it indicates an overpressure situation. Replace the bursting disc immediately with an appropriate replacement from the accessory kit or manufacturer. Do not operate the compressor with a damaged or missing bursting disc.
7.3 Moisture Management
Although the compressor is designed to be water/oil-free, ambient humidity can still introduce moisture into the system, especially in humid environments. To minimize moisture buildup in your air tanks, it is recommended to periodically open the bleed valve during operation to release any accumulated moisture. For optimal dryness, consider using an external desiccant filter (not included) in conjunction with the compressor.
8. Troubleshooting
- Compressor Not Starting:
- Check power connections (AC or DC) and ensure they are secure.
- Verify the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
- If using AC power, check the voltage selection switch on the external power supply.
- Compressor Not Reaching Desired Pressure:
- Ensure the bleed valve is fully closed.
- Check all hose connections for leaks.
- Verify the air tank's capacity is within the compressor's limits (max 0.5L).
- Allow adequate time for inflation, referring to the inflation speed specifications.
- Excessive Noise or Vibration:
- Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Check for any loose components or obstructions around the fan.
- Overheating Indication:
- Ensure the compressor is operating in a well-ventilated area.
- Check that the cooling fan is running and its vents are not blocked.
- If the temperature display shows high readings, turn off the compressor and allow it to cool down before resuming operation.
- Bursting Disc Ruptured:
- This indicates an overpressure event. Immediately turn off the compressor.
- Replace the bursting disc with a new one from the accessory kit.
- Review your operating procedure to ensure you are not exceeding pressure limits.
