4.1 Front Panel

  • 8-Inch FHD IPS Screen: High-resolution display for photos and videos.
  • Remote Control Sensor: Receives signals from the remote control.

4.2 Rear Panel and Ports

  • Power Button: Turns the device on or off.
  • DC 5V Power Input: Connect the power adapter here.
  • USB 2.0 Port: For connecting USB flash drives.
  • Mini USB Port: For connecting to a computer (if applicable for data transfer).
  • SD/MMC Card Slot: Insert SD or MMC memory cards.

4.3 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all frame functions from a distance. Buttons include Power, Menu, Navigation (Up, Down, Left, Right), OK, Play/Pause, Volume, and other function-specific keys.

5. Setup

  1. Attach the Stand: Insert the dedicated stand into the slot on the back of the frame. Ensure it is securely attached for stable placement.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the frame. Then, plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Insert SD Card: Insert the provided 32GB microSD card (or your own compatible SD/MMC card) into the SD card slot on the side/rear panel. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
  4. Power On: Press the Power button located on the back of the frame or on the remote control to turn on the device. The frame will boot up and display the main menu or start a slideshow automatically.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Navigation

Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) on the remote control or the rear panel to move through menus and select options. Press the 'OK' button to confirm a selection. Press the 'Menu' button to access the main settings.

6.2 Photo Playback

Once an SD card or USB drive with photos is inserted, the frame will typically start a slideshow automatically. You can customize the slideshow settings:

  • Slideshow Settings: Access the settings menu to adjust slideshow speed, transition effects, and repeat mode.
  • Image Rotation: The built-in gravity sensor automatically rotates photos for correct orientation (horizontal or vertical) when the frame's position is changed.

6.3 Video Playback

Select the video playback option from the main menu to view videos stored on the inserted SD card or USB memory.

  • Supported Formats: Refer to the Specifications section for a list of supported video formats.
  • Volume Control: Use the volume buttons on the remote control to adjust the audio level.

6.4 Music Playback

Select the music playback option from the main menu to listen to audio files stored on your media.

6.5 Clock, Calendar, and Alarm Functions

The frame includes integrated clock, calendar, and alarm features for added utility.

  • Setting Time/Date: Access the system settings menu to set the current time and date.
  • Alarm Setup: Configure alarms through the alarm settings menu. You can set multiple alarms with custom sounds.

6.6 USB Memory Expansion

Connect a USB flash drive to the USB 2.0 port on the rear panel to access additional media files. The frame will recognize the USB drive and allow you to browse its contents.

6.7 Brightness Adjustment

The screen brightness can be adjusted in 15 levels to suit your viewing environment. Access this setting through the main menu or dedicated brightness buttons on the remote control.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive materials, as they may damage the screen surface.
  • Cleaning the Frame: Wipe the frame's exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Ensure no moisture enters the ports or openings.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power adapter and store the frame in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 No Power

  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the frame's DC 5V input and a functional power outlet.
  • Try plugging another device into the same outlet to confirm it is working.
  • Press the power button firmly on the frame or remote control.

8.2 No Image Display

  • Check if the SD card or USB drive is inserted correctly and fully.
  • Ensure that the media files (photos, videos) on the card/drive are in supported formats (refer to Specifications).
  • Verify that the brightness setting is not set to its lowest level.

8.3 Remote Control Not Responding

  • Check the battery in the remote control and replace it if necessary.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the frame's remote sensor.
  • Point the remote directly at the frame's sensor.

8.4 Screen Freezes or Malfunctions

  • Disconnect the power adapter from the frame, wait for approximately 10 seconds, then reconnect it to perform a soft reset.
  • If the issue persists, try removing the SD card/USB drive and restarting the frame.
