Setup

  1. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the laptop's power port and then into a wall outlet. Allow the battery to charge for at least 30 minutes before first use.

Operating Your Laptop

Power Management

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the laptop on. To turn off, go to the Start Menu in Windows and select Power > Shut down.
  • Sleep Mode: Close the lid or select Power > Sleep from the Start Menu to put the laptop into a low-power state.
  • Restart: Select Power > Restart from the Start Menu to reboot the system.

Keyboard and Touchpad

  • The laptop features a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
  • Keyboard and Chassis: Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap solution can be used, ensuring no liquid enters openings.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Do not leave the laptop constantly plugged in at 100% charge for extended periods.
  • Periodically discharge the battery to around 20% before recharging.

Software Updates

  • Regularly check for and install Windows updates via Windows Settings > Update & Security.

Storage Management

Troubleshooting

IssuePossible Solution

No display on screen.Check if the laptop is powered on. Adjust screen brightness using function keys. If an external monitor is connected, ensure it's properly connected and selected as the output.
Wi-Fi connection issues.Verify Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings. Restart your router and modem. Ensure you are within range of the Wi-Fi signal. Re-enter the Wi-Fi password.
