5.1 Charging
Pagers are equipped with rechargeable lithium batteries. They automatically charge when placed on the docking station. Keep the base plugged in to ensure pagers are always ready for use.
5.2 Cleaning
To clean the pagers and charging base, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the device surfaces.
5.3 Replacing Pager Stickers
The pagers feature a retainer plate that allows for easy replacement of custom logo stickers. Gently remove the retainer plate, replace the sticker, and re-secure the plate.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Signal Issues
- Intermittent Signal: Ensure the antenna on the charging base is securely attached and fully extended. Avoid placing the base near large metal objects or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Reduced Range: Obstructions like thick walls or multiple floors can reduce the effective range. Try repositioning the charging base to a more central location or an area with fewer physical barriers.
6.2 Pager Not Responding
- No Alert: Verify the pager is correctly paired with the system (refer to Section 3.2). Check the pager's battery level by placing it on the charging base.
- Incorrect Alert Mode: Review the prompt mode settings (Section 3.3) to ensure the desired alert type (vibration, flash, beep) is active.
6.3 Charging Issues
- Pager Not Charging: Ensure the charging base is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected. Check that the pager is correctly seated in its charging slot and that the charging contacts are clean.
- Slow Charging: Confirm you are using the original power adapter provided with the system.
