Product Overview
The FS-TFC Pocket Water Filter utilizes a multi-stage filtration process to ensure water purity. Key components include the hand pump unit, filter cartridge, pre-filter, silicone tubing, and a collapsible water pouch.

Filtration Technology
This filter employs a triple filtration system:
- Stage 1: Pre-Sand Filter - Filters out visible solid suspensions such as sediment and algae.
- Stage 2: Antibacterial Carbon Fiber Filtration - Eliminates peculiar odor and color, and reduces chlorine and organic matter, improving water taste.
- Stage 3: 0.01 Micron Hollow Fiber UF Membrane - The 0.01 micron ultra filter helps filter out 99.99% of harmful substances in water.

Setup
Before first use, familiarize yourself with the components and ensure all parts are clean and undamaged.
- Unpack Components: Remove the water filter, water pouch, silicone tubing, and pre-filter from the packaging.
- Attach Pre-filter: Connect the silicone tubing to the inlet port of the pump unit. Attach the pre-filter stone to the other end of the silicone tubing.
- Prepare Handle: The pump features a folding handle design for compact storage. To prepare for use, gently pull the handle upwards until it extends fully, then lift it to a 90-degree angle from the main body.

Operating Instructions
The FS-TFC Pocket Water Filter offers versatile usage methods:
Method 1: Hand Pump Operation
- Place the pre-filter end of the silicone tubing into the untreated water source (e.g., river, lake, puddle).
- Position the outlet nozzle over a clean container or directly into your mouth.
- Begin pumping the handle up and down steadily. Water will be drawn through the filter and dispensed from the outlet.
Method 2: Direct Straw Usage
- Unscrew the UF water filter from the pump unit.
- Remove the outlet nozzle from the UF filter.
- You can now use the UF filter separately like a filter straw, directly sucking water from a source or a container.
Method 3: Squeeze with Pouch
- Fill the provided collapsible water pouch with untreated water.
- Screw the UF water filter (without the pump unit) onto the opening of the water pouch.
- Gently squeeze the pouch to force water through the filter and into a clean container or directly into your mouth.

Important: Always use the pre-filter when drawing water from natural sources to prevent clogging the main filter.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and effectiveness of your water filter.
Cleaning the Filter
- After each use, especially when filtering turbid water, backwash the filter. To do this, pump clean water through the filter in reverse direction (if applicable, or follow specific backwash instructions if provided with the product).
- Rinse the pre-filter and silicone tubing with clean water.
- For the UF filter, unscrew it and rinse the exterior under clean running water. Do not use soap or harsh chemicals.
Storage
- Ensure the filter is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or bacterial growth. You can air dry it or gently shake out excess water.
- Store the filter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Keep all components together in the provided pouch or a clean container.
Caution: Do not freeze the filter once it has been used, as residual water inside can expand and damage the filter membrane.
Troubleshooting
