This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new Donner DED-80 Electric Drum Set and Donner DED-20 Electric Drum Pad. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the products to ensure proper function and longevity.
The Donner DED-80 Electric Drum Set is designed for beginners, featuring 180 built-in sounds, 15 drum kits, and 30 demo songs. 2. Setup
2.1 Donner DED-80 Electric Drum Set Assembly
Carefully unpack all components. Assemble the drum rack according to the included diagram. Attach the drum pads, cymbals, and sound module to the rack. Connect the cables from each pad and cymbal to the corresponding inputs on the sound module. Ensure all connections are secure.

2.2 Donner DED-20 Electric Drum Pad Setup
Unroll the DED-20 drum pad on a flat, stable surface. Connect the power cable to the unit and a suitable power source (e.g., mobile power bank or USB adapter). If using headphones, plug them into the 3.5mm headphone output jack.

2.3 Power Connection
- DED-80: Connect the included power adapter to the sound module and a wall outlet.
- DED-20: Use the provided USB cable to connect to a USB power adapter or a mobile power bank.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Donner DED-80 Sound Module Overview
The DED-80 sound module is the central control unit for your drum set. It features a display, volume control, kit selection, demo songs, a metronome (click), and recording functions.

- Power: Press the power button to turn the module on or off.
- Volume: Adjust the master volume using the dedicated knob.
- Kit Selection: Use the 'KIT' button and +/- buttons to cycle through 15 different drum kits.
- Songs: Select from 30 demo songs using the 'SONG' button and +/- buttons.
- Coach/Training: Utilize the 'COACH' function for guided practice.
- Click (Metronome): Activate the metronome with the 'CLICK' button to practice with a steady tempo.
- Recording: Press 'REC' to record your performance.
3.2 Playing the DED-80 Electric Drum Set
Strike the mesh drum pads and rubber cymbals with the included drumsticks. The DED-80 features double-layer mesh drum heads designed for an authentic playing feel.

3.3 Using the DED-20 Electric Drum Pad
The DED-20 is a 7-pad foldable drum kit. Strike the silicone pads with drumsticks or your hands. The pads are designed to be quiet, making it suitable for practice without disturbing others, especially when using headphones.
3.4 Headphone Use for Quiet Practice
Both the DED-80 sound module and DED-20 drum pad support headphone output. Connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the designated jack for private practice sessions. This allows you to play without disturbing others.

3.5 MIDI Connectivity (DED-20)
The DED-20 features standard MIDI out and USB MIDI out jacks. You can connect the drum pad to a computer to produce music, use it with drumming game software, or connect it to external speakers for amplified sound.

3.6 Recording Function (DED-20)
The DED-20 offers a recording function of up to 180 seconds. Refer to the DED-20 specific manual for detailed instructions on how to activate and manage recordings.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Wipe down the drum pads, cymbals, and sound module with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure no liquid enters the electronic components or jacks.
4.2 Storage
- Store both products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- The DED-20 Electric Drum Pad can be rolled up for compact storage and portability.
- For the DED-80, if disassembling for long-term storage, ensure all cables are neatly coiled and components are protected.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No Sound Output
- Check Power: Ensure the unit is properly powered on and connected to a working power source.
