Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
  • Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
  • Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door (bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) door seals and sealing surfaces.

Setup and Installation

Unpacking

  • Remove all packing materials from inside the oven cavity and from the oven door.
  • Inspect the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate if damaged.

Placement

  • Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation. Maintain a minimum clearance of 20 cm (8 inches) above the oven, 10 cm (4 inches) at the rear, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side.
  • Do not block air vents.

Electrical Connection

Plug the oven into a standard household electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications on the rating label of the appliance.

Turntable Installation

  • Place the roller ring in the center of the oven floor.
  • Place the glass turntable on top of the roller ring, ensuring it sits securely.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Clock

To set the clock, press the 'Clock' button (if available, or refer to the control panel image for 'Reloj' button). Use the number pad to enter the current time, then press 'Clock' again to confirm.

Basic Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
  2. Close the oven door securely.
  3. Press the 'Micro' button to select microwave cooking.
  4. Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking time.
  5. Press 'Inicio' (Start) to begin cooking.

Power Levels

This microwave offers 5 power levels. To adjust the power level, press the 'Micro' button repeatedly after setting the time until the desired power level is displayed (e.g., P100 for full power, P80 for 80% power, etc.).

Automatic Menus

The oven includes 6 automatic menus for common food items: Papas (Potatoes), Pizza, Palomitas (Popcorn), Bebidas (Beverages), Carne (Meat), and Pescado (Fish). To use an auto menu:

  1. Place the food in the oven.
  2. Press the corresponding auto menu button (e.g., 'Papas').
  3. Press 'Inicio' (Start). The oven will automatically set the cooking time and power level.

Defrost Function

The defrost function allows you to defrost food by weight or time.

  • Defrost by Weight: Press the 'Descong' (Defrost) button once. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the food. Press 'Inicio'.
  • Defrost by Time: Press the 'Descong' (Defrost) button twice. Use the number pad to enter the desired defrosting time. Press 'Inicio'.

Express Function

For quick heating, press the 'Inicio' button. Each press will add 30 seconds of cooking time at full power. This is indicated by '+30 seg' next to the 'Inicio' button.

Timer Function

The timer can be set for up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds. Press the 'Timer' button, enter the desired time using the number pad, and press 'Timer' again to start. This function does not activate the microwave heating.

Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the 'Parar' (Stop) button for 3 seconds. The display will show a lock indicator. To deactivate, press and hold 'Parar' again for 3 seconds.

DIAMOND COOKING Microwave System

This microwave utilizes the DIAMOND COOKING system, which is designed to distribute microwave energy more evenly within the cavity, resulting in more consistent cooking and heating performance.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the surface.

Interior Cleaning

Clean the interior cavity regularly. For stubborn food splatters, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for 2-3 minutes. The steam will loosen the residue, making it easier to wipe clean with a soft cloth.

Turntable and Roller Ring

The glass turntable and roller ring can be removed for cleaning. Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
