Setup and Preparation
Before First Use:
- Remove all packaging materials and labels from the iron.
- Inspect the iron for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
- For the corded iron, ensure the power cord is untangled. For the cordless iron, place the charging base on a stable surface and plug it into a power outlet.
Filling the Water Tank:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged (or off its charging base for the cordless model) and cooled down.
- Open the water tank cover.
- Fill the water tank with tap water up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill.
- Close the water tank cover securely to prevent leaks.
Note: The irons are equipped with a silicone seal to minimize water leaks. Using distilled water is recommended in areas with hard water to prevent mineral buildup, though tap water is generally suitable.
Operating Instructions
1. Temperature Selection:
Turn the temperature dial to select the appropriate heat setting for your fabric. Always check the garment's care label. If unsure, start with a lower temperature on an inconspicuous area.

- Low Temperature: Silk, Nylon, Synthetics
- Medium Temperature: Wool, Rayon Mixture
- High Temperature: Cotton, Linen, Jeans
2. Ironing Techniques:
Allow the iron to reach the selected temperature before beginning. The indicator light will typically turn off or change color when ready.
- Dry Ironing: For delicate fabrics or when steam is not desired, ensure the steam setting is off.
- Steam Ironing: Once the iron is hot, select the desired steam level using the variable steam switch. Glide the iron over the fabric.
- Steam Shot / Burst of Steam: Press the steam shot trigger for an extra burst of steam to remove stubborn wrinkles. Wait a few seconds between bursts.
- Water Spray: Press the water spray button to lightly mist the fabric, aiding in wrinkle removal.
- Vertical Steaming: Both irons are suitable for vertical steaming. Hold the iron upright, close to the fabric (curtains, hanging garments), and press the steam shot trigger.
- Cordless Iron Operation: Place the cordless iron on its charging base between passes to maintain optimal temperature. The iron will reheat quickly.

Maintenance and Care
1. Self-Clean Function:
Regularly use the self-clean function to flush out mineral deposits and maintain steam performance.

- Set the iron to the highest temperature setting.
- Once hot, unplug the iron (or remove from base for cordless).
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Press and hold the self-clean button/switch. Hot water and steam will flush out from the soleplate, carrying impurities.
- Release the button when the water tank is empty.
- Move the iron gently to remove any remaining water.
- Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.

2. Cleaning the Soleplate:
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
- Do not use abrasive scouring pads or metal cleaners, as these can damage the soleplate.
3. Storage:
- Empty the water tank after each use.
- Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.
- Store the iron upright on its heel rest (corded) or on its charging base (cordless) in a dry, safe place.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Iron does not heat up. | Not plugged in; power outlet faulty; temperature dial set to minimum; cordless iron not on charging base or base not powered. | Check power connection; test outlet with another appliance; adjust temperature dial; ensure cordless iron is correctly docked and base is powered. |
| No steam or insufficient steam. | Water tank empty; temperature too low for steam; steam switch off; mineral buildup. | Fill water tank; set temperature to steam-appropriate level (usually higher settings); activate steam switch; perform self-clean cycle. |
| Water leaks from soleplate. | Water tank overfilled; temperature too low for steam (water drips instead of vaporizes); water tank cap not secured. | Do not overfill; ensure iron is hot enough for steam; secure water tank cap. |
| Iron leaves stains on fabric. | Mineral deposits in water tank/steam vents; dirty soleplate. | Perform self-clean cycle; clean soleplate as per maintenance instructions. Consider using distilled water. |
