3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation

Installation Steps:

1. Disconnect Power: Before starting, ensure your electric vehicle's battery is disconnected to prevent accidental power surges or short circuits.
2. Remove Old Grips/Throttle: Carefully remove the existing throttle and left-hand grip from the handlebars. Loosen any screws or clamps holding them in place.
3. Install New Throttle: Slide the SPEDWHEL Twist Throttle onto the right side of the handlebar. Position it comfortably and securely tighten its clamp.
4. Install Left Grip: Slide the matching left-hand grip onto the left side of the handlebar.
5. Wiring Connections:
   • Identify the corresponding connectors on your vehicle's controller or wiring harness. The throttle typically has wires for power (red), ground (black), and signal (green/blue). The lock wires (usually two, often red/blue or red/yellow) connect to the vehicle's power circuit to enable/disable the system.

5. Operating Instructions

• Turn the key to the "ON" position to power on the vehicle and activate the display.
• Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it to power off the vehicle and secure it.

Throttle Operation:

• Once the vehicle is powered on, gently twist the throttle grip towards you to accelerate.
• Release the throttle to return to its original position and reduce speed.
