2. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of the inverter. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent short circuits or damage.
2.1 Component Overview

Figure 2: Top view of the inverter, highlighting the DC input, AC output, and LED indicators.
The inverter features clearly labeled DC input terminals (+ and -), an AC output socket, and a 'START' potentiometer for adjustment. LED indicators for Power, APC (MPPT tracking), and Heat are also visible.
2.2 Connecting to Solar Panels
Connect your solar panels to the DC input terminals. Ensure the solar panel's Vmp (Maximum Power Voltage) falls within the inverter's MPPT range of 24-35V for optimal efficiency. The inverter is suitable for 24V and 36V solar panels.
- For 24V solar panels: Vmp is 26-30V and Voc is 34-38V.
- For 36V solar panels: Vmp is 35-39V and Voc is 42-46V.

Important: Always connect the positive (+) terminal of the solar panel to the positive (+) DC input of the inverter, and the negative (-) terminal to the negative (-) DC input.
2.3 Connecting to Batteries
The inverter is compatible with 24V batteries. Connect the battery to the DC input terminals, observing polarity. New switches have been added for independent operation modes for solar panels and batteries, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Figure 4: Connection diagram for a 24V battery to the inverter and to the home AC grid.
Caution: When connecting a charged battery, a DC fuse should be installed upstream to prevent arcing, as the inverter does not include a disconnect switch for the DC input.
2.4 AC Grid Connection
Connect the AC output of the inverter to your home's AC grid using a suitable power cable. Ensure the grid connection is compliant with local regulations and safety standards. The inverter features advanced anti-island technology to prevent power feedback during grid outages.
3. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed, the inverter is ready for operation. The system will automatically begin converting DC power to AC power and feeding it into the grid.
3.1 Power Adjustment (Battery Mode)
When operating in battery mode, the power output can be adjusted using the rotary switch. The adjustable power range is from 100W to 380W. The inverter will remember the last power setting even after being turned off.

3.2 LED Indicators
The inverter is equipped with LED indicators to display its operational status. Refer to the table below for a detailed explanation of each indicator.

Figure 6: LED indicator status and their corresponding functions.
| LED | Status | Functions |
|---|---|---|
| Power (Green) | Light off | System not switched on, or system not connected to solar panel. |
| Flashing | PV Voltage or Grid frequency exceeds permitted range. | |
| Light on | System in normal working order. | |
| APC (Blue) | Light off | Input Voltage exceeds MPPT tracking permitted range. |
| Flashing | System on tracking the maximum efficiency point of sun lighting. | |
| Light on | System locked on the maximum efficiency point of sun lighting. | |
| HEAT (Red) | Light off | System in normal working temperature, <45°C. |
| Flashing | System is slightly high on temperature, >45°C. | |
| Light on | System is starting to overheat, >70°C. Switch output to off. When temperature cools down to below 45°C, device back on to work. |
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your inverter.
- Cleaning: Keep the inverter's exterior clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
- Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fins (aluminum base) are not obstructed to allow for proper heat dissipation. The inverter is designed with an aluminum cooling base to manage heat effectively.
- Connection Checks: Periodically inspect all DC and AC connections for tightness and signs of corrosion. Loose connections can lead to poor performance or safety hazards.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the inverter is operated within its specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to prevent damage.
5. Troubleshooting
This section provides guidance on common issues you might encounter with your inverter.
- Inverter Not Powering On / No Output:
- Check the 'Power' LED indicator. If off, ensure the system is switched on and connected to a solar panel or battery.
- Verify DC input voltage from solar panels or battery is within the specified range (26V-45V DC).
- Ensure all DC and AC connections are secure. A loose DC connector can cause issues.
- Low Efficiency / Reduced Output:
- Check the 'APC' LED indicator. If off, the input voltage might exceed the MPPT tracking range. Ensure solar panel Vmp is within 24-35V.
- If the DC voltage approaches 24V, the inverter's efficiency may decrease.
- Ensure solar panels are clean and not shaded.
- Overheating ('HEAT' LED Flashing/On):
- If the 'HEAT' LED is flashing (temperature >45°C), ensure adequate ventilation around the inverter.
- If the 'HEAT' LED is solid on (temperature >70°C), the inverter has shut down its output. Allow it to cool down. Check for obstructions around the cooling fins.
- Unusual Noises or Smells:
- Immediately disconnect the inverter from all power sources if you detect unusual smells or loud noises. This may indicate an internal fault.
- While the aluminum casing prevents fire, internal component failure can occur.
- Battery Low Voltage Shutdown:
- The inverter features automatic low voltage battery protection to prevent over-discharge and extend battery life. If the battery voltage drops too low, the inverter will shut down. Recharge the battery.
If issues persist after following these steps, please contact customer support.
