4. Setup
4.1 Physical Connections
Before operating the meter, ensure all necessary components are properly connected:
- pH/ORP Electrode: Connect the BNC connector of the pH or ORP electrode to the BNC socket on the rear panel of the meter.
- Temperature Probe: Insert the jack connector of the temperature probe (TP-10K) into the dedicated jack socket.
- Power Adapter: Connect the DC 12V power adapter to the power socket and then plug it into a suitable power outlet.

5.1 Display Overview
The Bante A120 features a 7-inch TFT LCD screen that clearly shows measurement values, status icons, setup menu, and operation guides. The display provides real-time data and intuitive navigation.

5.2 pH Calibration
The meter supports 1 to 5 points calibration with automatic buffer recognition. Refer to the on-screen guide for step-by-step instructions. Regular calibration ensures measurement accuracy.
5.3 pH Measurement
Place the pH electrode and temperature probe into the sample. The meter will automatically compensate for temperature variations. The Auto-Read function will detect and lock the stable measurement endpoint.
5.4 ORP Measurement
The Bante A120 allows for selectable ORP measurement modes, including relative and absolute ORP. Ensure the correct ORP electrode is connected and calibrated as per the instructions.

6.2 Meter Cleaning

7. Troubleshooting

- "Calibration Due" Reminder: This indicates that the last calibration has expired. Perform a new calibration to ensure accuracy.
- Unstable Readings: Check the electrode for damage or contamination. Ensure the sample is well-mixed and the temperature probe is correctly placed. Verify that the electrode is properly connected.
- Electrode Error Message: The automatic electrode diagnosis feature will indicate issues such as zero point offset or slope problems. Clean or replace the electrode if necessary.
- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the meter and the power outlet. Check the power source.
