5. Installation
Follow these steps to install your LUXE Bidet Cold Water Hose with Integrated Shut-Off Valve. For a visual guide, please refer to the installation video below.
Required Tools:
- Adjustable wrench or pliers
- Bucket or towel for catching water
Installation Steps:
- Turn off Water Supply: Locate the water supply valve for your toilet, usually on the wall behind or near the toilet, and turn it clockwise to shut off the water.
- Flush Toilet: Flush the toilet to empty the tank and bowl. Hold the flush handle down to ensure as much water as possible drains out.
- Drain Remaining Water: Place a bucket or towel underneath the toilet's water supply connection to catch any remaining water.
- Disconnect Existing Hose: Carefully disconnect the existing cold water bidet hose from both the T-adapter (connected to the toilet tank) and the bidet attachment.
- Connect New Hose to T-adapter: Connect one end of the new LUXE Bidet Cold Water Hose with Shut-Off Valve to the T-adapter. Ensure a snug fit to prevent leaks.
- Connect Other End to Bidet: Connect the other end of the new hose to the bidet attachment's cold water inlet. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a quarter turn to secure.
- Position Shut-Off Valve: The shut-off valve can be installed closer to the T-adapter (for child lock functionality) or closer to the bidet (for easier access to pressure control). Choose the position that best suits your needs.
- Turn on Water Supply: Slowly turn the toilet's water supply valve counter-clockwise to restore water flow. Check for any leaks at all connection points.
- Test Functionality: Once water flow is restored, test the bidet and the shut-off valve to ensure proper operation and adjust water pressure as desired.

6. Operation
The integrated shut-off valve provides two primary functions: water pressure adjustment and complete water shut-off.
Adjusting Water Pressure:
To fine-tune the water pressure for a softer or stronger spray, gently turn the lever on the shut-off valve. A small adjustment can significantly change the flow. This allows for dual pressure control when combined with your bidet's existing pressure settings.

Complete Water Shut-Off (Child & Pet Lock):
For complete peace of mind, especially in households with children or pets, the valve can be fully closed to prevent any water flow to the bidet. This acts as a child and pet lock, preventing accidental activation. It is also recommended to shut off the valve when leaving home for extended periods to prevent potential leaks.
