Setup

1. Charging the Mouse

The Redragon M693 mouse is equipped with a 700 mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the mouse's charging port and the other end to a standard USB port on your computer or a low-power USB charger. Avoid using fast-charging adapters, as this may damage the battery or prevent it from holding a charge effectively.

A full charge can provide up to 60 hours of use in eco-mode (RGB lighting off).

2. Connection Modes

The M693 supports three distinct connection modes: 2.4GHz Wireless, Bluetooth, and Wired USB-C. A switch on the bottom of the mouse allows you to select your preferred mode.

2.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB nano receiver stored in the compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB nano receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "2.4G" position.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.

2.2. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Slide the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the "BT" position.
  2. Press and hold the "PAIR BT" button on the bottom of the mouse until the indicator light starts blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select "Redragon M693" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process.

2.3. Wired USB-C Connection

  • Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the mouse's front port.
  • Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  • The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

Operating Instructions

1. DPI Adjustment

The M693 mouse features 5 on-board DPI levels (1000/1500/2000/2400/4000) that can be adjusted directly on the mouse. For advanced customization and to set DPI levels up to 8000, use the Redragon Pro driver software.

2. Programmable Buttons

The mouse has 7 programmable buttons. These buttons can be customized with tactical keybinds and macros for various games or work applications using the Redragon Pro driver software. Two side macro buttons are included for enhanced gaming and working efficiency.

3. RGB Backlight Customization

Personalize your gaming setup with dynamic RGB lighting effects. The Redragon Pro driver allows you to DIY endless styles, including streaming, breathing, and waving effects, to match your preferences and create an immersive atmosphere.

Software Installation

To unlock the full potential of your Redragon M693 mouse, including advanced button programming, DPI customization, and RGB lighting effects, download and install the Redragon Pro driver software.

  1. Visit the official Redragon website (www.redragonzone.com).
  2. Navigate to the "Download" or "Support" section.
  3. Locate the driver for the M693 model.
  4. Download and run the installer, following the on-screen prompts.
  5. Once installed, launch the software to customize your mouse settings.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface. For optical sensor, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the sensor area.

2. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Charge it when the battery indicator is low. As mentioned in the charging section, do not use fast-charging plugs as they can damage the battery. Use a standard USB port or a low-power charger.

Troubleshooting

  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.

Battery not holding charge
  • Ensure you are not using a fast-charging adapter. Use a standard USB port on your computer or a low-power USB charger.
  • Verify the charging cable is not damaged.
Programmable buttons not working
  • Ensure the Redragon Pro software is installed and running.
  • Verify that the buttons are correctly configured within the software.
  • Save and apply any changes made in the software.
