- Auto: (Default) The power bank automatically detects whether to input or output power through the USB-C port.
- Output: Forces the USB-C port into output-only mode, ensuring it delivers power to a connected device.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Sherpa 100PD:
- Regular Charging: If not used frequently, top off the battery every 3 to 6 months to maintain battery health.
- Storage: Store the power bank in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Sherpa 100PD, consider the following:
- Device Not Charging: Ensure the correct output ports (USB-A, USB-C) or wireless charging are activated via their respective buttons. Check cable connections and try a different cable or device.
- Slow Charging: Verify that your wall adapter or solar panel provides sufficient wattage (e.g., 60W for fast charging). Ensure the USB-C selector is in 'Auto' or 'Input' mode when charging the Sherpa.
- Display Issues: If the display is not visible, press the 'Display' button. If it remains off or shows incorrect information, try fully discharging and recharging the unit.
- Overheating: While the aluminum construction helps dissipate heat, prolonged high-power usage may cause the unit to warm. If it becomes excessively hot, disconnect devices and allow it to cool down.
