Setup

Charging the Sherpa 100PD

Before first use, fully charge your Sherpa 100PD. The power bank can be charged via its USB-C port.

• USB-C Wall Charger: Connect a USB-C wall charger (not included) to the 60W USB-C input port. A 65W charger can fully charge the power bank in approximately 2 hours.
• Solar Panel: The Sherpa 100PD can be charged using a compatible solar panel (e.g., Goal Zero Nomad 20). Connect the solar panel to the 8mm solar input port. Charging times vary depending on sunlight conditions (typically 8-16 hours for a Nomad 20).

For optimal charging speed, use a 60W or higher USB-C Power Delivery charger. The device does not include a wall adapter.

Using the Display and Buttons

The Sherpa 100PD features an intuitive color LCD display and control buttons:

• Display Button: Press the 'Display' button (left side of the display) to turn the screen on and view power statistics. The light next to the button will illuminate.
• Wireless Charging Button: Press the wireless charging button (right side of the display) to activate the 15W wireless charging pad. A light will illuminate when active.
• USB Button: Press the 'USB' button (below the display) to turn on/off the USB-A and USB-C output ports. A light will indicate activation.

Charging Your Devices

The Sherpa 100PD offers multiple ways to charge your devices:

• USB-C Output: The 100W USB-C port is ideal for charging laptops, tablets, and other high-power USB-C devices.
• USB-A Output: The two USB-A ports provide up to 12W output each, suitable for smartphones, headphones, and other smaller USB devices.
• Wireless Charging: Place your Qi-compatible device on the wireless charging pad on top of the Sherpa 100PD. Ensure the wireless charging button is activated.

USB-C Input/Output Selector

On the back of the power bank, there is a physical switch to select the function of the USB-C port:

• Input: Forces the USB-C port into input-only mode, preventing the power bank from attempting to output power. Useful when charging the Sherpa from a device that might otherwise try to draw power from it.
• Auto: (Default) The power bank automatically detects whether to input or output power through the USB-C port.
• Output: Forces the USB-C port into output-only mode, ensuring it delivers power to a connected device.

Maintenance

• Regular Charging: If not used frequently, top off the battery every 3 to 6 months to maintain battery health.
