- Turn off Power: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power to the circuit is turned off at the main breaker panel.

- Assemble Fixture: Carefully unpack all components. Attach the pendant rod to the canopy and the shade.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires (usually black to black, white to white, and ground to ground) using wire nuts.
