Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
- Position: Place the steam generator on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, such as an ironing board designed for steam generators.
- Fill Water Tank: Remove the water tank and fill it with tap water up to the 'MAX' level. Do not use distilled or demineralized water as it can affect steam performance. Reinsert the tank securely.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the On/Off button on the control panel. The indicator light will flash while the appliance heats up. It will become steady when ready (approximately 2 minutes).
- No Setting Technology: Thanks to the No Setting technology, the iron automatically adjusts to all ironable fabrics. You do not need to manually select temperature or steam settings.
- Steam Ironing: Press the steam trigger located under the iron's handle to release continuous steam. For stubborn creases, press the steam boost button (if available, usually a double-press of the trigger or a separate button) for an extra burst of steam.

- Easy LED Vision: Activate the LED light by pressing the dedicated button on the control panel (refer to Figure 4). This light illuminates the ironing area, making it easier to spot and remove creases.
- Vertical Steaming: The powerful steam allows for vertical steaming of hanging garments, curtains, or drapes. Hold the iron a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam trigger.
- Auto-Off Function: For safety and energy saving, the appliance may automatically switch off after a period of inactivity. To restart, press the On/Off button.
- Power Off: After use, press and hold the On/Off button until the indicator light turns off. Unplug the appliance from the wall socket.
- Store: Allow the iron to cool down completely before storing. Use the lock system to secure the iron to its base for safe transport and storage.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steam generator.
Cleaning the Soleplate:
- Allow the iron to cool completely.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Descaling (Calc Collector):
Your Tefal Express Vision is equipped with a removable scale collector to capture limescale deposits. The 'Anti-Calc' indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to clean the collector.
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and has cooled down for at least 2 hours.
- Locate the scale collector on the side of the base unit (refer to Figure 4).
- Turn the collector counter-clockwise to unlock and pull it out.
- Rinse the collector thoroughly under running water to remove limescale.
- Reinsert the collector and turn it clockwise to lock it into place.
Water Tank:
- Empty the water tank after each use to prevent limescale buildup.
- Rinse the tank periodically with clean water.
Troubleshooting
