Button Functions:

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
  2. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

The clock will power on automatically once batteries are inserted. The display will show default time and date settings.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting Time and Date

  1. Press the SET button once to enter time setting mode. The hour digit will flash.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press SET again to move to minute setting. Use UP or DOWN to adjust minutes.
  4. Continue pressing SET to cycle through Year, Month, and Day settings, adjusting each with UP or DOWN.
  5. After setting the Day, press SET one more time to exit setting mode.

6.2 Switching 12/24 Hour Format

In normal time display mode, press the UP button to toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats.

6.3 Setting the Alarm

The alarm features an ascending beep sound, starting softly and gradually increasing in speed.

  1. Press the ALARM button once. The alarm time will be displayed, and the alarm hour will flash.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the alarm hour.
  3. Press ALARM again to move to alarm minute setting. Use UP or DOWN to adjust minutes.
  4. Press ALARM one more time to exit alarm setting mode.
  5. To turn the alarm on or off, press the ALARM button in normal time display mode. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

6.4 Snooze Function

Pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock activates the snooze function.

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock. The alarm will pause for 5 minutes and then sound again. You can repeat this process.

To turn off the alarm completely, press any button on the back of the clock.

6.5 Backlight Function

In normal time display mode, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to activate the backlight. The backlight will stay on for approximately 8 seconds and then automatically turn off.

6.6 Temperature Unit Conversion

In normal time display mode, press the DOWN button to switch the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, replace both AAA batteries with new ones. Ensure correct polarity.
