4. Safety Instructions
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and eye protection, when handling automotive fluids.
- Ensure the work area is well-ventilated to avoid inhaling fumes from fluids.
- Do not use this pump with highly corrosive, flammable, or volatile liquids such as gasoline or strong acids, as this may damage the pump or create a safety hazard.
- Dispose of used fluids responsibly according to local environmental regulations.
- Keep the pump and fluids out of reach of children and pets.
- Inspect the pump and hoses for any damage or wear before each use. Do not use if damaged.
5. Setup
- Select the appropriate hose (Ø 6 mm or Ø 8 mm) for your application.
- Attach the chosen hose to the pump's inlet port. To do this, press the blue lock button on the top of the hose connector, insert the hose firmly, and then release the button to secure it.
- Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks during operation.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Fluid Extraction
- Ensure the pump is clean and dry before use.
- Insert the free end of the hose into the fluid reservoir from which you wish to extract liquid. Ensure the hose reaches the bottom or the desired level.
- Pull the pump's lever handle outwards to create suction. The fluid will be drawn into the pump body.
- Continue pulling and pushing the lever until the desired amount of fluid is extracted or the pump body is full.
- Once extracted, remove the hose from the reservoir and transfer the fluid to an appropriate waste container. Use the anti-drip lid if transporting the pump with fluid inside.

6.2. Fluid Filling
- Ensure the pump is clean and free from contaminants, especially if filling with a different type of fluid than previously extracted.
- Fill the pump body with the desired fluid from a clean source.
- Insert the free end of the hose into the reservoir you wish to fill.
- Push the pump's lever handle inwards to dispense the fluid into the reservoir.
- Monitor the fluid level in the receiving reservoir to avoid overfilling.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
- Cleaning After Use: It is crucial to clean the pump thoroughly after each use, especially when switching between different types of fluids. Disassemble the hoses and rinse all components with warm water and a mild detergent. For oil-based fluids, a suitable degreaser may be necessary.
- Drying: Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembly and storage to prevent corrosion or residue buildup.
- O-ring Maintenance: The integrated double rubber rings are vital for preventing leaks. Periodically inspect them for cracks, hardening, or wear. Replace them with the provided spare O-rings if necessary. Applying a small amount of neutral petroleum jelly (vaseline) to the O-rings before reassembly can help maintain their flexibility and sealing properties. Avoid using petroleum-based lubricants if the pump will be used with water-based fluids.
- Storage: Store the pump in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
- Poor Suction:
- Check hose connections: Ensure hoses are securely attached to the pump and fully submerged in the fluid.
- Inspect O-rings: Worn or damaged O-rings can cause air leaks. Replace them if necessary.
- Verify fluid viscosity: Very thick fluids may require more effort or may not be suitable for this pump.
- Leaks:
- Tighten hose connections: Ensure all connections are firm.
- Inspect O-rings: Replace any damaged O-rings.
- Check pump body for cracks: If the pump body is cracked, discontinue use and replace the unit.
- Piston Sticking:
- Clean the pump: Residue from previous fluids can cause the piston to stick. Thoroughly clean the pump and O-rings.
- Lubricate O-rings: Apply a thin layer of appropriate lubricant (e.g., neutral petroleum jelly) to the O-rings.
