1. Introduction

2. Setup and Battery Installation

Your Energizer Vision HD+ LED Headlamp comes with batteries pre-installed or included separately. Follow these steps to ensure proper setup.

2.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the headlamp unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover. This usually involves a latch or a small screw. Refer to the diagram on the packaging if unsure.
  3. Insert three (3) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place or the screw is tightened.

Note: Always use fresh, high-quality AAA alkaline batteries for optimal performance. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

2.2. Adjusting the Headband

The elastic headband is designed for comfort and adjustability.

  • Place the headlamp on your head.
  • Use the adjustable buckle on the strap to tighten or loosen the band until it fits snugly and comfortably without being too tight.
  • The band can be adjusted to fit head sizes ranging from approximately 5.5 inches to 14.25 inches in diameter.

3. Operating Instructions

The Energizer Vision HD+ LED Headlamp features a single power button to control its functions.

3.1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

  1. To Turn On: Press the power button once. The headlamp will typically turn on in the High mode.
  2. To Change Modes: While the headlamp is on, quickly press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available light modes:
    • High: Maximum brightness (300 lumens) for broad illumination.
    • Low: Reduced brightness for extended battery life or close-up tasks.
    • Spot: Focused beam for viewing objects at a distance.
    • Flood: Wide, diffused light for broader visibility, suitable for indoor use or wide-area illumination.
  3. To Turn Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. This allows you to turn off the headlamp from any mode without cycling through all modes. Alternatively, if you cycle through all modes, the headlamp will turn off after the last mode.

3.2. Pivoting Head

The headlamp unit can be tilted up or down to direct the light beam precisely where needed. Gently pivot the light unit to adjust its angle.

4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your headlamp.

4.1. Cleaning

  • Headlamp Unit: Wipe the headlamp unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Headband: The elastic headband is washable. Remove it from the headlamp unit and hand wash with mild soap and water. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching.

4.2. Storage

  • If the headlamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.
  • Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
