5. Setup and Installation

The BoostArea pendant light is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps for a secure setup:

1. Prepare for Installation: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker. Gather all necessary tools (not included) such as a screwdriver, wire strippers, and electrical tape.
2. Adjust Cord Length: The pendant light features an adjustable cord (up to 61.02 inches). Unscrew the fastening fitting on the canopy to adjust the cord to your desired hanging height. This allows for customization in various spaces, including vaulted, sloped, or flat ceilings.
3. Mount the Canopy: Attach the mounting bracket (included) to your ceiling's electrical box. Ensure it is firmly secured. The canopy (4.7'' D x 0.98'' H) is designed for flush mounting and can adapt to sloped ceilings.
4. Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring according to local electrical codes. Typically, black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and bare copper/green to green (ground). Secure connections with wire nuts.
5. Secure the Fixture: Carefully push the wires into the electrical box and secure the canopy to the mounting bracket using the provided screws.
6. Install the Glass Shade: Gently attach the clear glass cylinder shade (5.51'' D x 6.69'' H) to the fixture.
