Operating Instructions
Power Connection
Connect the saw to a standard 220-240V~50/60Hz power outlet. Ensure the power source matches the saw's voltage requirements.
Adjusting Angles (Mitre and Bevel)

Figure 4: Demonstrations of 45° Mitre Adjustment and Bevel Cuts 0-45° Left.
- Mitre Adjustment: Loosen the mitre lock knob. Rotate the movable base to the desired angle (up to 45° adjustable). The saw features positive stops at 9 settings for common angles (right/left). Tighten the lock knob to secure the angle.
- Bevel Adjustment: For bevel cuts, adjust the saw head tilt. This model supports bevel cuts from 0-45° to the left. Loosen the bevel lock, tilt the saw head to the desired angle, and then tighten the lock.
Making a Cut
- Position the workpiece firmly against the fence and secure it with the working clamp.
- Ensure the blade is clear of the workpiece before starting the motor.
- Press the On/Off switch to start the motor. Allow the blade to reach full speed before beginning the cut.
- Slowly lower the saw blade through the workpiece, applying steady, even pressure.
- Once the cut is complete, release the On/Off switch and allow the blade to stop completely before raising the saw head.
- Remove the cut workpiece and clear any sawdust.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your mitre saw.
- Cleaning: After each use, unplug the saw and use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust from the motor vents, blade guard, and base. Empty the dust collecting bag regularly.
- Blade Care: Keep the saw blade clean and sharp. A dull blade can cause kickback and strain the motor. Replace damaged or warped blades immediately.
- Carbon Brushes: Periodically inspect the carbon brushes for wear. Replace them when they are worn down to approximately 1/4 inch (6mm) or if the motor performance decreases. Refer to the Carbon Brush Cover for access.
- Lubrication: Apply a light coat of machine oil to moving parts and pivot points as needed to ensure smooth operation.
- Storage: Store the saw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
