1. Important Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully before operating your Kingsong KS-N12 Pro electric scooter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the scooter.

  • Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
  • Do not ride in wet conditions, heavy rain, or through puddles.
  • Ensure all bolts and quick releases are securely fastened before each ride.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 120 kg.
  • Observe local traffic laws and regulations regarding electric scooters.
  • Avoid riding on steep slopes or uneven terrain.

3. Setup and Assembly

Your Kingsong KS-N12 Pro scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the scooter and all accessories from the packaging. Check for any damage during transit.
  2. Handlebar Assembly:

    Lift the handlebar stem until it clicks into place. Secure the folding mechanism latch. Ensure the handlebar is firmly locked and does not wobble.

  3. Initial Charging:

    Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port (usually located on the side of the deck) and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when charging is complete (e.g., from red to green).

    Note: The scooter includes a power charger. Only use the original charger provided with the scooter.

  4. Tire Check: Verify that the tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure (refer to the tire sidewall for specifications).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To turn on the scooter, press and hold the power button on the display panel for a few seconds.
  • To turn off the scooter, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

4.2 Riding the Scooter

  1. Starting: Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain some initial momentum.
  2. Acceleration: Once moving, gently press the throttle lever (usually on the right handlebar) to engage the motor. Increase pressure for more speed.
  3. Braking: Use the brake levers on the handlebars to slow down or stop. The scooter is equipped with both front and rear brakes for effective stopping. Apply both brakes smoothly for controlled deceleration.
  4. Speed Modes: The scooter may have multiple speed modes (e.g., Eco, Drive, Sport). Refer to the display for current mode and use the mode button to switch between them. The factory-set speed limit is 20 km/h.

4.3 Folding the Scooter

To fold the scooter for storage or transport:

  1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  2. Locate the folding mechanism latch at the base of the handlebar stem.
  3. Disengage the latch and carefully fold the handlebar stem downwards until it locks into place with the rear fender or a designated hook.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your scooter.

  • Battery Care:
    • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
    • Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
    • Store the scooter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Tire Maintenance:
    • Check tire pressure before each ride and inflate to the recommended PSI.
    • Inspect tires for wear, punctures, or damage.

  • Brake System:
    • Regularly check brake levers for proper tension and responsiveness.
    • Inspect brake pads for wear and replace if necessary.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or immerse the scooter in water.

6. Troubleshooting
