Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.
Note: Always use new batteries and replace both batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
2. Pairing Instructions
Pairing is required for the remote control to function with your Onn Android TV 4K UHD Stick TV Box. Follow these steps to pair the remote:
- Ensure your Onn Android TV device is powered on and connected to your TV.
- Navigate to the Settings menu on your Onn Android TV device. You may need to use your original remote or a connected keyboard/mouse for initial navigation if the new remote is not yet paired.
- Within Settings, look for options such as "Remotes & Accessories" or "Bluetooth Devices".
- Select "Add Accessory" or "Pair New Device".
- On the ECONTROLLY remote control, press and hold the Home button and the Back button simultaneously for approximately 5-10 seconds. The LED indicator on the remote (if present) may flash to indicate pairing mode.
- Your Onn Android TV device should detect the "ECONTROLLY Remote" or a similar device name. Select it from the list to complete the pairing process.
- Once paired, a confirmation message should appear on your TV screen. Test the remote's functions to ensure successful pairing.
