2. Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the dryer and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power and Heat Settings

3.2 Lock Function
The dryer includes a lock function to prevent accidental changes to speed and heat settings during use. The Cool Shot function remains active even when locked.
- To Lock: Slide the lock switch to the 'LOCK' position.
- To Unlock/Change Settings: Slide the lock switch to the 'ON' (middle) position.
- Auto-Memory: When turned off, the dryer will auto-memorize the latest heat and speed settings and resume with those once turned 'ON' again.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Self-Cleaning Function
The SMART-X dryer features a self-cleaning micro-filter to ensure long-lasting performance.
- When to Engage: The dryer will alert you when cleaning is required. All three speed lights will flash for 5 seconds. During this time, the dryer will not operate. It will resume functioning on the 6th second.
- How to Engage: Hold down the "Speed Lower" button (marked with a minus sign) for approximately 10 seconds. This will activate the auto-clean function, which will automatically switch off after 15 seconds.
- After Cleaning: Resume operating the dryer as normal.

4.2 General Cleaning
- Ensure the dryer is unplugged and cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Regularly check the air intake filter at the back of the dryer for lint and dust buildup. Gently clean with a soft brush or cloth to maintain optimal airflow.
