Introduction

The Amazon Echo Hub is an 8-inch smart home control panel designed to simplify the management of your connected devices. With Alexa built-in, you can control lights, smart plugs, view camera feeds, and more, either by voice command or through the intuitive touch display. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Echo Hub.

Setup

1. Unboxing and Components

2. Installation Options

3. Power Connection

Connect the included power adapter to the Echo Hub and plug it into a wall outlet. Ensure the power supply complies with USB PD protocol and supports both 5V/2.4A and 9V/3A ratings.

For PoE installations, a compatible USB-C converter is required, supporting IEEE 802.3at/PoE+/Type2 or IEEE 802.3bt /PoE++/Type 3.

4. Initial Setup and Connectivity

Setup requires an internet connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. The Alexa app is compatible with Fire OS, Android, and iOS devices, and is also accessible via your web browser.

Your Echo Hub receives guaranteed software security updates for at least four years after its last availability for purchase as a new unit. These updates ensure optimal performance and security.
