Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Volt Polska 5K230110300 Universal Voltage Converter. This device is designed to either step down AC 230V to AC 110V or step up AC 110V to AC 230V, enabling the use of electrical equipment from different regions in environments with varying voltage standards. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
Product Overview
The Volt Polska 5K230110300 is a robust universal voltage converter designed to either step down AC 230V to AC 110V or step up AC 110V to AC 230V. This bidirectional capability makes it ideal for powering electrical equipment from regions like the USA or Japan in environments with different voltage standards, and vice-versa. It features a highly efficient toroidal transformer and a durable metallic casing with a comfortable handle for portability. The integrated SOFT START module ensures a gradual power-up, protecting connected devices from sudden surges. For enhanced safety, both input and output connections are grounded.
Key Features:
- Total Power (Instantaneous): 3000VA
- Input Voltage: 230VAC or 110VAC (bidirectional)
- Output Voltage: 110VAC or 230VAC (depending on input and selected output)
- Dimensions: 285x190x201mm
- Weight: 10.2 kg
- Innovative toroidal transformer for high efficiency.
- Durable metallic casing with integrated handle.
- Grounded input and output for user safety.
- Integrated SOFT START module for gentle power delivery.
Typical Applications:
This converter is suitable for powering various devices, including:
- Chargers
- Shavers
- Media Players
- Household appliances (e.g., food processors)
- Power tools (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, screwdrivers)
Safety Instructions
- Always ensure the converter is placed on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation.
- Do not expose the converter to moisture, rain, or extreme temperatures.
- Never open the converter casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Ensure the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed the converter's rated power (3000VA).
- Always connect the converter to a grounded power outlet.
- Before connecting any device, verify its voltage requirements match the converter's output voltage setting.
- Unplug the converter from the main power supply when not in use or during electrical storms.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the converter from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage.

- Input Voltage Connection: The converter is designed for bidirectional operation (230V <-> 110V). Connect the converter's main power cord to your local grounded wall outlet. The converter is equipped to handle either 230V or 110V input and will provide the converted voltage at its output sockets.
- Connecting Devices:
- Identify the required voltage for your device (e.g., 110V or 230V).
- Locate the corresponding output sockets on the converter's rear panel. The converter provides both 110V and 230V output sockets.
- Plug your device into the appropriate output socket. For example, if your local supply is 230V and you need to power a 110V device, plug the device into a 110V output socket. If your local supply is 110V and you need to power a 230V device, plug the device into a 230V output socket.

- SOFT START Function: The integrated SOFT START module will gradually increase the voltage to the connected device, preventing sudden power surges and protecting sensitive electronics.
- Using Your Device: Once the converter is powered on and the indicator light is active, you can power on your connected device.
- Power Off: To turn off the converter, first power off your connected device, then press the power switch on the converter to the "OFF" position. Unplug the converter from the wall outlet if not in use for an extended period.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the converter from all power sources before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation grilles remain clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating. Periodically check and gently clean the grilles if necessary.
- Storage: Store the converter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use.
