- Connect the USB Type-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer, game console, or smartphone (an adapter may be required for some smartphones, not included).
- The microphone is Plug & Play compatible. Your operating system should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
- Verify the microphone is selected as the input device in your system's sound settings or your recording/streaming software.
3. Operating Instructions

- Gain Control: The KRUX Edis 1000 does not feature a physical gain knob. Adjust input levels through your computer's sound settings or your recording software.

3.2 Optimizing Audio Quality
- Environment: Record in a quiet environment to minimize background noise.
- Pop Filter: Always use the pop filter to prevent harsh 'P' and 'B' sounds (plosives) from distorting your audio.
- Shock Mount: The shock mount helps isolate the microphone from vibrations and handling noise from the desk or arm.
- Software Settings: Utilize noise reduction, equalization, and compression features available in your recording or streaming software to further enhance sound quality.
4. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microphone body and arm. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the microphone in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Handling: Avoid dropping or subjecting the microphone to strong impacts, as this can damage internal components.
- Cable Care: Do not bend or crimp the USB cable excessively. Always grasp the connector, not the cable, when plugging or unplugging.
