Setup and Installation
1. Initial Charging and App Download
Before installation, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable. Download the 'CloudEdge' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Create an account and log in.
2. Connecting to Wi-Fi
Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. This camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your home network. You will typically hold the reset button on the camera for 4-5 seconds until a red indicator light flashes, then scan a QR code generated by the app using the camera's lens.

3. Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel
Choose a mounting location that provides optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel and a clear view for the camera. The recommended installation height is 7-10 feet (2-3 meters) from the ground. Use the provided template stickers to mark drill holes accurately. Secure the mounting brackets with the screws and wall anchors. Attach the camera and solar panel to their respective mounts. Connect the solar panel cable to the camera's charging port.
Operating Instructions
Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Access the live feed through the CloudEdge app. Use the on-screen controls to pan (355°) and tilt (90°) the camera remotely, allowing you to monitor a wide area.

Night Vision and Spotlights
The camera features enhanced night vision. Four integrated spotlights illuminate your property when motion is detected, providing clear color video even in darkness.

Two-Way Audio
Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication with visitors or to deter intruders. This feature reduces wind and noise for clear audio.

Human Detection and Alerts
The camera's advanced human detection technology minimizes false alarms by focusing on human shapes. Receive instant notifications on your smartphone when human motion is detected.

Recording and Storage
Recordings can be stored locally on a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) or via an optional cloud subscription service. The app allows for quick playback of recorded videos.

Maintenance
- Regularly clean the camera lens and solar panel to ensure optimal performance.
- Check the battery level periodically via the app, especially during prolonged cloudy periods.
- Ensure the solar panel is free from obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) that could block sunlight.
- Verify Wi-Fi connection stability to prevent interruptions in monitoring.
Troubleshooting
- Camera Offline: Check Wi-Fi signal strength, router connection, and camera battery level. Try restarting the camera and router.
- Poor Video Quality: Ensure the lens is clean. Check network bandwidth. Adjust camera placement for better lighting.
- No Motion Detection: Verify motion detection settings in the app. Adjust sensitivity levels. Ensure the camera's field of view covers the desired area.
- Battery Drain: Ensure the solar panel receives adequate direct sunlight. Reduce the frequency of recordings or live view sessions if possible.
