Front Panel Controls and Display

LCD Display: Shows time, mode, and track information.
CD Door: Front-loading mechanism for CDs.
Bluetooth Indicator: Illuminates when connected via Bluetooth.

Top Panel Controls and Connections

POWER Button: Turns the unit on/off.

Setup

Power Connection

Connect the supplied 120V AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit and then plug it into a standard AC outlet.

Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires one AAA battery (included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert the battery, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.

Placement Options

The JBS-300 can be placed on a flat surface or wall-mounted.

Tabletop Placement

Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture.

Wall Mounting

Use the provided wall mount kit and follow the instructions carefully. Ensure the wall can support the weight of the unit and that mounting is done securely to prevent falling.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the unit or remote.
Select Source: Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to cycle through CD, USB, Bluetooth, AM, FM, and AUX modes.
Adjust Volume: Use the VOL+ or VOL- buttons on the unit or remote.

CD/MP3/WMA Playback

Press the FUNCTION button to select CD mode.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD door.
Insert a CD with the label side facing you.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD door. The unit will begin playing automatically.

Controls:

PLAY/PAUSE: Press to pause playback, press again to resume.
SKIP/SEARCH: Press briefly to skip tracks. Press and hold to fast forward/rewind.
REPEAT: Press to repeat current track, all tracks, or folder (for MP3/WMA).
RANDOM: Plays tracks in a random order.
PROGRAM: Allows programming a sequence of tracks.

Bluetooth Streaming

Press the FUNCTION button to select Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for "JBS-300".
Select "JBS-300" from the list of available devices to pair. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow steadily.
You can now play audio from your device through the JBS-300.

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the top of the unit.
Press the FUNCTION button to select USB mode.
The unit will automatically detect and play compatible MP3 files.

AM/FM Radio

Press the FUNCTION button to select AM or FM mode.
Auto Scan: Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button to automatically scan and store available stations.
Manual Tuning: Press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons briefly to fine-tune frequencies.
Preset Stations: The unit supports 20 AM and 20 FM presets. Use the PROG button to store and recall presets.

AUX-IN Connection

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the AUX-IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Press the FUNCTION button to select AUX mode, and control playback from your connected device.

Alarm Clock Function

The unit features an alarm that can wake you to the radio, CD, USB, or a buzzer alarm. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for setting the clock and alarm times.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner disc.

CD Care

Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free from scratches. Store CDs in their cases when not in use.

Storage

If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and remove batteries from the remote control.

Troubleshooting
