Operating Instructions
Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of uncooked rice. The cooker can handle 1 to 1.5 cups of uncooked rice.
- Rinse Rice (Optional but Recommended): Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch and can improve rice texture.
- Add Rice to Inner Pot: Place the rinsed rice into the removable non-stick inner pot.
- Add Water: Add water according to the markings inside the inner pot. For 1 cup of uncooked rice, fill water up to the "1 CUP" line. For 1.5 cups, fill up to the "1.5 CUP" line. Adjust water quantity based on desired rice texture (less water for firmer rice, more for softer).
- Place Inner Pot: Carefully place the inner pot into the main rice cooker unit. Ensure it sits properly.
- Close Lid: Close the lid securely.
- Start Cooking: Press the "COOK" switch down. The "COOK" indicator light (red) will illuminate, indicating that cooking has started.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the "WARM" mode, and the "WARM" indicator light (yellow) will illuminate. This prevents overcooking and keeps the rice warm until serving.
- Resting Period: For best results, allow the rice to rest in the "WARM" mode for 10-15 minutes after cooking is complete. This allows the steam to distribute evenly, resulting in fluffier rice.
- Serve: Open the lid carefully, avoiding steam. Use the provided spatula to fluff the rice and serve.

- Soups/Broths: Ideal for heating or preparing small portions of soup or broth.
- Pasta/Noodles: Cook small amounts of pasta or instant noodles.
- Steamed Vegetables: Use the inner pot to steam vegetables (ensure adequate water for steaming).
The rice cooker's multi-functionality allows for various dishes beyond just rice.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your rice cooker.
- Unplug: Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove Inner Pot and Lid: Take out the removable inner pot and the detachable inner lid.
- Wash Inner Pot: The aluminum inner pot with non-stick coating can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge, or placed in the dishwasher for convenience. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick surface.
- Clean Outer Body: Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
- Clean Lid: Wash the detachable inner lid and the main lid with warm, soapy water. Ensure all food particles are removed from the steam vent.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Rice is too hard/undercooked | Not enough water; lid not properly sealed; rice not rested after cooking. | Add slightly more water next time; ensure lid is secure; allow 10-15 minutes resting time in "WARM" mode. |
| Rice is too soft/mushy | Too much water; rice not rinsed (excess starch). | Reduce water slightly next time; rinse rice thoroughly before cooking. |
| Rice sticking to the bottom | Not enough water; inner pot not properly cleaned; non-stick coating wear. | Ensure correct water ratio; clean inner pot thoroughly; if coating is worn, consider replacement. |
| Cooker does not turn on | Not plugged in; power outlet issue; switch not engaged. | Check power cord connection; test outlet with another appliance; ensure "COOK" switch is fully pressed down. |
