3. Setup

3.1 Inserting SIM Cards and SD Card

The Redmi A1 supports two Nano-SIM cards and one microSD card simultaneously. Follow these steps to insert them:

1. Locate the SIM tray on the left side of the device.
2. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole on the SIM tray to open it.
3. Place your Nano-SIM cards into the designated SIM slots and the microSD card into its dedicated slot. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down.
4. Carefully push the SIM tray back into the phone until it is flush with the side.

3.2 Initial Power On and Configuration

1. Press and hold the Power button on the right side of the phone until the Redmi logo appears.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and set up your Google account.
