4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

The trimmer is equipped with a 7.2V lithium-ion battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-5 hours and provides about 60 minutes of operation for grass trimming or 45 minutes for hedge trimming.

  • Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
  • Plug the charger cable into the charging port on the trimmer.
  • The 3-color power light indicator will show charging status. Refer to the indicator guide in the Operating section for details.
  • Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

4.2. Blade Installation and Change

The trimmer features an innovative blade change system that requires no tools. Always ensure the trimmer is turned off and the safety lock is engaged before changing blades.

  • Step 1: Slide the Blade Cover. Locate the blade cover on the trimmer head. Push the release button and slide the cover off.
  • Step 2: Take Off the Blade. Carefully remove the installed blade from its position.
  • Step 3: Install New Blade. Align the new grass or shrub blade with the internal gears and slots on the trimmer head. Ensure it sits flush.
  • Step 4: Push the Blade Cover. Slide the blade cover back into place until it clicks securely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

To turn on the trimmer, you must simultaneously press the side safety lock button and the trigger switch. Release the trigger to turn off the trimmer.

5.2. Using the Grass Shear Blade

Attach the 3.15-inch wide grass shear blade for precise trimming of lawn edges, around obstacles, or in tight spaces. Hold the trimmer firmly and guide it along the desired cutting path.

5.3. Using the Shrubbery Trimmer Blade

Attach the 4.72-inch long shrubbery trimmer blade for shaping and pruning small hedges and shrubs. Move the trimmer smoothly across the foliage, maintaining a consistent cutting line.

5.4. Battery Indicator

The trimmer features a 3-color power light indicator to show the battery charge level:

  • Green: High charge
  • Yellow: Medium charge
  • Red: Low charge, requires recharging

6. Maintenance
