5. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the aroma diffuser and all its components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Before first use, clean all removable parts, especially the water tank and cover, with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Place Salt Rocks: Gently place the provided Himalayan pink salt crystals into the salt stone container at the base of the diffuser.

4. Fill Water Tank: Remove the top cover. Using the measuring cup, fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the maximum fill line (150ml). Do not overfill.
5. Add Essential Oils: Add 3-5 drops of your preferred essential oil directly into the water tank. Adjust the quantity based on desired aroma intensity.

6. Replace Cover: Securely place the top cover back onto the diffuser unit.
7. Connect Power: Plug the DC adapter into the power port on the diffuser, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

6. Operation

The SALKING diffuser features touch-sensitive controls for easy operation:

• Power On/Off & Mist Control:
  Power Button (⏻): Press once to turn on the mist and flame effect. Press again to cycle through timer settings (1H, 2H, 4H, OFF). Hold to turn off the device.
• Timer Settings:
  The diffuser offers 4 timer modes: ON (continuous mist), 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours. Select your desired duration by pressing the power button. The device will automatically shut off when the selected time expires or when water runs out.
• Light Control:
  Light Button (☀️): Press to adjust the brightness of the Himalayan salt lamp. There are three adjustable brightness levels: Strong, Breath (pulsating glow), and Weak. Press a fourth time to turn off the salt lamp light. The flame effect mist light operates independently.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your diffuser.

General Cleaning:

1. Unplug: Always unplug the diffuser from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Empty Water: Remove the cover and empty any remaining water from the tank.
3. Wipe Tank: Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild detergent to wipe the inside of the water tank. For stubborn residue, a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar can be used to gently clean the ultrasonic plate (the small metal disc at the bottom of the tank).
4. Rinse & Dry: Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water, ensuring no detergent residue remains. Wipe all parts dry before reassembling.
5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the diffuser with a soft, dry cloth.

Himalayan Salt Crystals:

• The salt crystals do not require frequent cleaning. If they appear dusty, gently wipe them with a dry cloth.
• Do not wash the salt crystals with water, as they are hygroscopic and will dissolve.
• Ensure the salt stone container is dry before placing the crystals back.
