4. Setup Instructions

The KU XIU Magnetic Stand features a C-clamp design for secure attachment to various surfaces. No tools are required for installation.

1. Choose a Location: Select a sturdy surface such as a desk, bedside table, kitchen cabinet, or bookcase. Ensure the surface edge is between 0.5 cm and 5 cm (1.97 inches) thick.
2. Attach the Clamp: Unscrew the knob on the C-clamp to open it sufficiently. Position the clamp onto the edge of your chosen surface.
3. Secure the Clamp: Tighten the knob firmly until the stand is securely fastened to the surface. The clamp includes rubber pads to protect your furniture from scratches.
4. Verify Stability: Gently test the stand's stability before attaching your iPad. Ensure there is no wobbling or movement.

5.1 Magnetic Attachment

The stand features powerful built-in magnets for quick and secure iPad attachment.

1. Align iPad: Carefully align the back of your compatible iPad with the magnetic plate on the stand.
2. Secure Attachment: The magnets will automatically align and firmly hold your iPad in place. Ensure the iPad is centered and feels secure before releasing it.
3. Removal: To remove your iPad, gently pull it away from the magnetic plate.

5.2 Angle and Height Adjustment

The stand is equipped with multiple adjustment points for optimal viewing comfort:

• Arm Joints: The stand features four adjustable joints (one 45° joint, two 180° joints, and one 270° joint) allowing you to bend and position the arm.
• Gimbal: A 360° gimbal provides rotation at the base of the magnetic plate.
• Universal Rotating Head: The magnetic plate itself has a universal rotating head for fine-tuning the iPad's orientation.
• Maximum Height: The stand can extend up to 23.62 inches from the clamping surface.
