1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DieseRC 433Mhz Wireless Remote Control Switch. This system is designed for remote control of various electrical appliances, offering convenience and efficiency.

5. Setup and Installation

Before proceeding, ensure the main power supply to the circuit you are working on is turned OFF at the circuit breaker to prevent electric shock.

5.1 Wiring the Receiver

The receiver has terminals for AC Input (L, N) and AC Output (L, N). Connect your power source and appliance as follows:

  1. Connect the Live (L) wire from your power source to the "AC Input L" terminal on the receiver.
  2. Connect the Neutral (N) wire from your power source to the "AC Input N" terminal on the receiver.
  3. Connect the Live (L) wire of your appliance (e.g., light, pump) to the "AC Output L" terminal on the receiver.
  4. Connect the Neutral (N) wire of your appliance to the "AC Output N" terminal on the receiver.

The receiver can be used to control various devices such as lights, fans, water pumps, and coffee makers. Ensure proper wiring for each application.

5.2 Pairing Transmitters (Learning Mode)

The system typically comes pre-configured in Latched Mode. If you need to pair new transmitters or re-pair existing ones, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the receiver is powered on.
  2. Press the Learning Button on the receiver 3 times. The indicator light on the receiver will flash, indicating it's in learning mode.
  3. Immediately press the "ON" button on the remote control you wish to pair. The receiver's indicator light will flash to confirm successful pairing for the "ON" function.
  4. Wait approximately 3 seconds. Then, press the "OFF" button on the same remote control. The receiver's indicator light will flash again to confirm successful pairing for the "OFF" function.
  5. The pairing process is complete. Test the remote control to ensure it operates the connected appliance correctly.

Each receiver can store approximately 20 transmitters. A single transmitter can also control multiple receivers if they are paired to it.

5.3 Changing Operating Modes (Advanced)

The receiver supports three operating modes: Momentary, Toggle, and Latched. The default is Latched Mode. To change the mode:

  • Momentary Mode: Press the learning button 1 time. Press the remote button. The relay will be ON as long as the remote button is held down.
  • Toggle Mode: Press the learning button 2 times. Press the remote button. The relay will switch ON/OFF with each press of the same button.
  • Latched Mode (Default): Press the learning button 3 times. Press the "ON" button on the remote, then the "OFF" button. The relay will be ON when "ON" is pressed and OFF when "OFF" is pressed.

After selecting a mode by pressing the learning button the specified number of times, you must then pair the remote control as described in Section 5.2 for the new mode to take effect.

6. Operation

Once the receiver is wired and the transmitters are paired, operating the system is straightforward.

6.1 Basic ON/OFF Control

  • To turn the connected appliance ON, press the "ON" button on the remote control.
  • To turn the connected appliance OFF, press the "OFF" button on the remote control.

The strong signal allows control from a distance of up to 50 meters, even through walls and floors, making it ideal for various applications in homes, farms, and industrial settings.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the receiver and transmitters with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface or internal components.

7.2 Battery Replacement (Transmitter)

The transmitters use a CR2032 lithium-manganese dioxide battery. If the remote control's indicator light does not illuminate or its range decreases significantly, replace the battery.

  • Carefully open the transmitter casing.
  • Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  • Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  • Close the casing securely.

7.3 Antenna Adjustment

The receiver has an external antenna. For optimal signal reception, ensure the antenna is extended and positioned away from metal obstructions.

8. Troubleshooting
