- For initial connection, place your smart device (phone/tablet) within 1 meter of the smart plug.

4.4 Connecting the Smart Plug (AP Mode)
If EZ Mode fails, you can try AP Mode:
- After attempting EZ Mode, if the indicator light is blinking slowly (1 flash every 2 seconds), select 'Blink Slowly' in the app.
- The app will prompt you to connect your phone to the device's hotspot. Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named 'SmartLife_xxxx' (this is a temporary Wi-Fi network generated by the smart plug, not your home Wi-Fi).
- Return to the Smart Life app and continue the connection process.
- Once connected, name your smart plug and save it.
4.5 Integrating with Amazon Alexa
To enable voice control with Alexa:

- Tap 'More' in the lower right corner, then select 'Skills & Games'.
- Tap the search icon (magnifying glass) in the upper right corner and search for 'Osaio' (the skill associated with Smart Life).
- Tap 'Osaio' and then 'ENABLE TO USE'.
- You will be redirected to a login page. Sign in with your Smart Life (Osaio) account credentials.
- Tap 'Authorize' to link your accounts, then tap 'Close'.
- Alexa will discover your smart home devices. You can then use voice commands to control your GNCC Smart Plug.
