8. Troubleshooting
- No Display: Ensure both HDMI and Micro USB cables are securely connected. Verify the power source for the device connected to the monitor.
- Touchscreen Not Responding (Windows): Connect the USB cable directly to your PC. Go to Control Panel and search for "Tablet Settings." If the option appears, perform a calibration. If not, try a different USB cable.
- Flickering Screen: Ensure the power supply is sufficient (5V, 3A recommended for Raspberry Pi). Insufficient power can cause screen flickering.
- No Audio: The monitor does not have built-in speakers. Audio will be output through the connected device's audio output or external speakers connected to the source device.
- Raspberry Pi Mounting: The back of the monitor has four holes for installing a Raspberry Pi. Note that Raspberry Pi and its case are not included. Non-conductive washers may be required to prevent shorting the board if mounting directly.
9. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the monitor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Protection: The monitor does not come with a back cover. Consider purchasing a separate case to protect the exposed circuitry, especially if used in a portable or DIY setup.
