3. Before First Use

  1. Unpack the kettle and all accessories. Remove any packaging materials.
  2. Before connecting the kettle to a power source, ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label matches your mains voltage.
  3. Fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX level.
  4. Bring the water to a boil.
  5. Discard the boiled water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues and ensure the best taste.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your electric kettle:

  1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark (1.0L) or above the MAX mark (1.7L) indicated on the water level window. Overfilling may cause water to spill out when boiling.
  2. Place on Power Base: Ensure the lid is securely closed. Place the kettle firmly onto the 360° rotational power base.
  3. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
  4. Start Boiling: Press the ON/OFF switch downwards. The illuminating LED indicator will light up, signaling that the kettle is heating.
  5. Boiling Process: The 1500W heating element will rapidly boil the water, typically within 5-7 minutes for a full kettle.
  6. Automatic Shut-Off: Once the water reaches a rolling boil, the kettle will automatically shut off, and the LED indicator will extinguish.
  7. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water. The V-shaped spout is designed for dripless pouring.
  8. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil, wait for a few seconds before pressing the switch again.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

Exterior Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  • Ensure the power base and the bottom of the kettle remain dry.

Descaling (Removing Mineral Deposits):

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle over time, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly.

  1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
  3. Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
  4. For stubborn deposits, you can use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub the interior.
  5. Alternatively, you can use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
