Step-by-Step Assembly:

  1. Unpack: Take the screen house out of its zip-up carry bag and remove the elastic band securing it.
  2. Pop-Up: Hold the top of the screen house with your hands (holding all panels). Throw it forward in a vertical position. The screen house will pop up automatically.
  3. Adjust Shape: Make the screen house upright. Pull open each panel from the inside to the outside, and adjust it properly to a regular hexagon shape.
  4. Secure Panels: Fasten the buckles on the panels to maintain the hexagonal shape.
  5. Install Poles: Connect the telescoping poles with both ends downwards. Pass them through the woven tapes on the ceiling. Insert them into the small bags marked with red circles, and secure them with the touch fasteners on the side. Ensure all 3 poles are installed.
  6. Tighten Ceiling: After installing all 3 poles, draw the woven tape in the center to the tightest extent, and fix the position.
  7. Ground Anchoring:
    • For Ground/Grass: Fix the screen house on the ground with ground stakes and connect it with guylines for added stability.
    • For Cement/Hard Floor: You may fill the provided sandbags with sand and soil, and connect them with guylines to secure the tent.

Folding and Storage

Folding the EAST OAK Screen House Tent is designed to be quick and easy for convenient storage and transport.

  2. Fold Head to Tail: Fold the panel head (marked 'A' in the video) to the tail. It's important to avoid pulling in the middle to prevent wire twisting. Leave a 2-4 inch gap for easier folding.
  3. Combine Sides: Combine the left side (marked 'B') and right side (marked 'C') panels, leaving some vertical misalignment. Secure the B and C sides.
  4. Push Inward: Push panel 'A' inward. Then, lay panels 'B' and 'C' down in sequence.
  5. Secure and Bag: Use the elastic band to bind the folded tent and place it back into the carry bag.
