Product Overview
The Yaheetech Classic Metal Platform Bed Frame is designed to provide a sturdy and stylish foundation for your mattress without the need for a box spring. Its Victorian-style iron-art headboard and footboard feature curved lines and thick tube frames, offering a blend of classic and romantic aesthetics that complement various home decors, including modern, traditional, farmhouse, and rustic styles.
This bed frame is constructed from a robust metal frame, ensuring high load-bearing capacity and stability. It includes 12 metal slats for strong mattress support and features a powder-coated surface for medium rust and scratch resistance, promoting long-term durability. The design also incorporates round corners, a smooth finish, and protective footpads for enhanced safety. The high footboard helps keep bedding securely on the bed.

Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the Yaheetech bed frame is designed to be straightforward, typically taking approximately 60 minutes with two adults. All necessary hardware and tools are provided. Follow these steps carefully:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, flat surface to identify each part according to the included installation manual.
- Assemble Headboard and Footboard: Connect the main sections of the headboard and footboard as per the diagrams in the manual.
- Attach Side Rails: Securely attach the side rails to the assembled headboard and footboard. Ensure proper alignment.
- Install Support Legs: Attach all supporting legs to the frame. The frame features 14 supporting legs for stability.
- Insert Metal Slats: Place the metal slats into their designated positions on the frame. The built-in metal slats help prevent the mattress from sliding.
- Initial Tightening: Half-tighten all screws and ensure all parts are properly aligned. This allows for minor adjustments before final tightening.
- Final Tightening: Once all parts are aligned, tighten all screws completely to ensure the frame is sturdy and secure.
- Check Stability: After assembly, gently shake the frame to ensure there is no wobbling or creaking. If any instability is detected, re-check all connections and tighten as necessary.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which may damage the powder-coated finish.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Avoid Excessive Moisture: While the frame has rust resistance, prolonged exposure to excessive moisture should be avoided to preserve its finish and integrity.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed frame is wobbly or shaky. | Loose bolts or improper assembly. | Ensure all bolts are fully tightened. Refer to the assembly instructions (Figure 5) to confirm correct installation of all parts. |
| Squeaking noises from the frame. | Loose connections or friction between metal parts. | Re-tighten all bolts. If squeaking persists, apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to connection points. |
| Mattress slides on the frame. | Improper placement of mattress or missing anti-slip features. | Ensure the mattress is centered on the frame. Verify that the built-in mattress stoppers/embedded design features are correctly installed (Figure 6). |
| Difficulty during assembly. | Parts not aligning or incorrect orientation. | Do not fully tighten screws until all parts are loosely assembled and aligned (Figure 5). Refer to the detailed diagrams in the manual. Two people are recommended for assembly. |
