4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Unpacking

- Remove all protective films and stickers.
4.2 Initial Rinse
- Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water.
- Place a container (at least 0.5L) under the coffee outlet.
- Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet.
- Press the control button to turn on the machine. It will blink white while heating up.
- Once the light is steady white, press the button three times quickly to start the rinsing cycle. The machine will dispense hot water.
- Repeat the rinsing cycle if desired.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Turning On/Off
- To turn on: Press the control button. The button will blink white during preheating and turn steady white when ready.
- To turn off: The machine features an automatic shut-off function, powering off 2 minutes after the last use. You can also press and hold the control button for 3 seconds to manually turn it off.
5.2 Brewing Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh water.
- Lift the lever to open the brew head.
- Insert a Nespresso Vertuo capsule into the capsule holder. The machine automatically detects the capsule's barcode to adjust brewing parameters (cup size, temperature, water pressure, rotation speed, and contact time).
- Close the brew head by pushing down the lever until it locks.
- Place your desired cup under the coffee outlet. The machine supports various cup sizes for Espresso (40 ml), Double Espresso (80 ml), Gran Lungo (150 ml), and Mug (230 ml).
- Press the control button once to start brewing. The button will blink during brewing.
- Once brewing is complete, the button will turn steady white.

5.3 Ejecting Used Capsules
After brewing, lift the lever to open the brew head. The used capsule will automatically be ejected into the used capsule container.

6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray and Used Capsule Container: Empty and rinse the drip tray and used capsule container daily with warm water.
- Water Tank: Rinse the water tank with fresh water daily. Refill with fresh drinking water.
- Machine Exterior: Wipe the machine's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or immerse the machine in water.
6.2 Descaling
To ensure optimal coffee quality and machine longevity, regular descaling is necessary. The frequency depends on water hardness:
