Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the light and accessories for any damage.
- Choose Placement:
- Submersible: Attach the suction cups to the light bar and firmly press them against the inside glass of your aquarium, ensuring the light is fully submerged.
- Under Tank Cover: Use the provided suction cups to attach the light to the underside of your aquarium lid.
- Hidden Atmosphere Light: Place the light behind the outside of the fish tank, using the included white background paper if desired, to create a subtle glow.
- Connect Power: Connect the light bar's cable to the inline controller, and then connect the controller to the power adapter. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Plug In: Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
Your hygger LED light features an inline controller with four buttons for easy operation:
- TIMER Button: Sets the duration the light stays on. Press to cycle through 6 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours.
- ON-OFF/M Button: Turns the light ON/OFF. In DIY mode, press 'M' to cycle through 7 different colors (White, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Orange, Cyan) and a continuous color cycle.
- Brightness Up/Down Buttons (▲/▼): Adjusts the light brightness. There are 5 levels of brightness (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
- 24/7 Button: Activates the natural 24/7 mode, simulating a full day-night cycle.
Using 24/7 Natural Mode:
Press the 24/7 button on the controller. The light will automatically transition through the following phases:
- Sunrise (6 AM - 8 AM): Gradient orange light.
- Daylight (8 AM - 6 PM): Gradient white light.
- Moonlight (6 PM - 10:50 PM): Gradient blue light.
- The lights will be off during other time periods. The overall default time period can be delayed or advanced by setting the current time on the controller.
Using DIY Mode:
For custom settings, use the TIMER, ON-OFF/M, and Brightness buttons:
- Set Timer: Press the TIMER button to select your desired operating duration (6h, 10h, or 12h).
- Choose Color: Press the ON-OFF/M button repeatedly to cycle through the available colors or select the continuous color cycle.
- Adjust Brightness: Use the Brightness Up/Down buttons (▲/▼) to set the light intensity to one of the five available levels.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the light bar with a soft, damp cloth to remove algae or mineral buildup. Ensure the light is unplugged before cleaning.
- Connection Check: Periodically check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- LED Longevity: The high-quality LEDs are designed for a long lifespan of over 50,000 hours. Avoid exposing the light to extreme temperatures or harsh chemicals.
