2. Important Safety Information

Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this air compressor. Failure to follow these warnings may result in serious injury, electric shock, fire, and/or property damage.

General Safety Warnings:

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the power source matches the compressor's requirements (120 Volts). Do not operate in wet conditions. Use a grounded outlet.
  • Pressure Safety: Never exceed the maximum operating pressure of 175 PSI. Do not modify the pressure switch or safety valve.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear safety glasses or goggles when operating the compressor or air tools. Hearing protection is recommended due to the noise level (62 dB).
  • Ventilation: Operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating and accumulation of fumes.
  • Maintenance: Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
  • Children and Bystanders: Keep children and bystanders away from the operating compressor.

3. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all components are present and properly assembled.

Initial Assembly Steps:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the compressor from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Wheel Attachment: Attach the 10-inch pneumatic wheels to the compressor base using the provided hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened for stability and portability.

  4. Power Connection: Connect the compressor to a grounded 120V electrical outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the compressor's power requirements.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your air compressor.

Starting the Compressor:

  1. Break-in Period: For the first 30 minutes of operation, run the compressor with the tank drain valve fully open. This allows the pump components to seat properly without building pressure.
  2. Power On: Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position before plugging in. Once plugged in, switch to "ON". The compressor will begin to build pressure.
  3. Pressure Adjustment: Use the pressure regulator knob to set the desired output pressure for your air tool. The tank pressure gauge shows the pressure inside the tank, while the regulated pressure gauge shows the output pressure.

    • Check for air leaks: Listen for hissing sounds or use soapy water to detect leaks around fittings and connections.
    • Inspect belt: Check for wear, cracks, or proper tension.
  • Annually/Every 200 Hours of Use:
    • Change pump oil: Replace with fresh, recommended compressor oil.
