4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Inserting the TF Card

Insert the provided 32GB TF card into the dash cam's TF card slot. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. A high-speed Class 10 or U3 TF card is recommended for optimal performance.

4.2. Mounting the Mirror Dash Cam

1. Attach the mirror dash cam to your vehicle's existing rearview mirror using the provided rubber straps.
2. Ensure the dash cam is securely fastened and centered for an unobstructed view.

4.3. Installing the Rear Camera

The rear camera can be mounted either inside the vehicle (e.g., on the rear window) or outside (e.g., above the license plate). Choose a location that provides a clear view of the rear of your vehicle.

• Internal Mounting: Secure the rear camera to the inside of the rear window using adhesive or screws.
• External Mounting: Secure the rear camera to the exterior of the vehicle, typically near the license plate, using screws. Ensure it is waterproofed.
• Route the rear camera cable to the front of the vehicle and connect it to the dash cam's rear camera input port.

4.4. Connecting Power and GPS

1. Connect the Type-C power cable to the dash cam and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.
2. Connect the GPS module to the designated GPS port on the dash cam. Position the GPS module on the dashboard or windshield with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.

5.1. Power On/Off

• Automatic: The dash cam will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on and power is supplied. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
• Manual: Press and hold the power button on the dash cam to manually turn it on or off.

5.2. Touch Screen Operation

The 12-inch touch screen allows for intuitive control of the dash cam's functions and settings. Swipe left/right to switch between front and rear camera views, swipe up/down to adjust brightness, and tap icons to access menus and settings.

• Loop Recording: The dash cam records continuously in short segments. When the TF card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. You can set the loop recording duration in the settings.
• Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically trigger emergency recording. These video files are locked and protected from being overwritten by loop recording.
• Parking Monitoring: When enabled and connected to a hardwire kit (ASIN: B0B6TZSF9P), the dash cam will monitor your vehicle while parked. If vibration or impact is detected, it will automatically wake up and record a short video.

5.4. Reversing Assistant
