3. Setup and Assembly
Your KETTLER AQUAROWER 500 requires some assembly. Please follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. Once assembled, proceed with filling the water tank.
3.1 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the rower is on a level surface.
- Locate the water tank cap, usually on top of the tank.
- Remove the cap and carefully fill the tank with clean tap water using the provided funnel and pump.
- Fill the tank to your desired resistance level, indicated by markings on the tank (between 9 and 17 liters). For initial use, we recommend starting at a lower level.
- Add one water purification tablet (if supplied) to the tank to prevent algae growth.
- Securely replace the water tank cap.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting Your Workout
- Sit on the seat and secure your feet in the foot straps.
- Grasp the handle with both hands.
- Begin rowing with a smooth, controlled motion. The water resistance will automatically adjust to your effort. The harder you pull, the greater the resistance.
4.2 Adjusting Water Resistance
Beyond the self-regulating resistance, you can manually adjust the base resistance by changing the water volume in the tank. The AQUAROWER 500 offers 4 distinct levels:
- To increase resistance, add more water to the tank (up to 17 liters).
- To decrease resistance, remove water from the tank (down to 9 liters).
