4. Setup

4.1. Physical Installation

1. Choose Location: Select a suitable outdoor wall location for optimal camera coverage and light distribution. Ensure it is within Wi-Fi range.
2. Power Disconnection: Before starting, turn off the main power supply to the installation area at your circuit breaker.
3. Mounting: Mark drilling points using the lamp's mounting bracket. Drill holes, insert wall plugs, and secure the mounting bracket to the wall.
4. Wiring: Connect the electrical wires from your power supply to the lamp's terminals according to the wiring diagram provided in the separate installation guide (if applicable) or on the product itself. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
5. Attach Lamp: Secure the lamp unit to the mounted bracket.
6. Power On: Restore power to the circuit. The lamp should power on.

4.2. App Configuration

1. Download App: Download the "LUTEC connect" application from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android).
2. Create Account: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new user account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: Select the option to add a new device. The app will guide you through the pairing process, which typically involves putting the lamp into pairing mode (refer to the lamp's specific indicator lights or button presses) and connecting it to your home Wi-Fi network.
4. Initial Setup: Once connected, you can name your device, adjust initial settings like time zone, and verify camera feed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Motion Detection and Notifications

• The integrated infrared sensor detects motion up to 10 meters.
• Upon detection, the lamp can automatically turn on, and the app will send a notification to your smart device, often including a short video clip of the event.
• Adjust the detection range and sensitivity within the "LUTEC connect" app settings.

5.2. Lighting Control

• Brightness: Adjust the light intensity (dimmable) via the app to suit your preference.
• Color Temperature: Select your desired white tone, ranging from warm white (2700K) to daylight white (6500K).
• Light Duration: Configure how long the light stays on after motion detection.
• Continuous Light: Option to keep the light continuously on during nighttime hours, overriding motion detection.

5.3. Camera and Intercom Functions

• Live View: Access the live 1080p camera feed anytime through the app.
• Camera Adjustment: The camera head can be rotated up to 180° horizontally and pivoted up to 35° vertically to optimize your viewing angle.
• Two-Way Audio: Use the integrated intercom to speak directly with visitors at your door, regardless of your location.
• Video Recording: Motion-triggered events are recorded to the 16GB microSD card. Older data is automatically overwritten when the card is full.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly wipe the lamp and camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Software Updates: Check the "LUTEC connect" app periodically for firmware updates for your device to ensure optimal performance and security.
• MicroSD Card: While the card automatically manages storage, you may periodically back up important recordings or format the card via the app if issues arise.
