Setup and Installation
The REOLINK Video Doorbell is designed for hardwired installation, connecting to your existing doorbell wiring (12-24VAC 50/60Hz, DC 24V). It is highly recommended to use it with Reolink Chime, Reolink NVR System, and other Reolink accessories for full connectivity and compatibility.
Installation Steps:
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power to your existing doorbell system at the circuit breaker.
- Remove Old Doorbell: Carefully remove your existing doorbell button.
- Find the Place to Drill Holes: Use the provided mounting hole template to mark the drill positions on your wall.
- Install the Wedge (Optional): If needed for optimal viewing angle (180° wide view), install the 15° wedge kit first.
- Wire Up the Video Doorbell: Connect the existing power cables to the terminals on the back of the Reolink Video Doorbell. Ensure connections are secure.
- Fix Video Doorbell to Mounting Plate: Securely attach the doorbell to the mounting plate.
- Power On: Restore power to your doorbell system at the circuit breaker. The doorbell should power on.
- Add to App: Download the Reolink App from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your new doorbell by scanning the QR code on the device.
